Brutes aren't monkeys, Brutes are gorillas. Humans are monkeys, and Spartans are Orangutans.

Now compare this to H3, there a good hog-driver and gunner could keep things going for like 5-7 minutes sometimes. I just can't get why they soften all up? Why?

Me, and some friends made a full team in Halo 3 for Big Team. We were playing slayer on Standoff.

One of my teammates was driving my other teammate in the hog. They were getting kill after kill in that thing. They lasted the whole game in that vehicle without getting killed. They were taking heavy fire to.

You can't last that long in Reach under heavy fire.

But even if it was frustrating for the opposition, it was also building structure of gameplay. I bet the whole map tried to stick or laser that thing lol

The 343 forums suck. They're full of retarded kids and mods who got butthurt in the B.net forums for being told that they're bad.

You need to work on your sentence structure, buddy. It's annoying to read.

Come to think of it, I think this is actually one of the design-flaws with Reach.... they set out for players to have the incentive to play as team, but very little substancial is forcing them. It's there alright, because "team" always wins more or less, but it's not apparent/obvious in any way.

not having a ranking system based on skill of course

It's fake teamwork. Armor Lock pausing the game, Bloom putting emphasis on team-shooting, vehicle health, and even that new ATLAS thing: The game provides the perks of having good teamwork without really having cohesion.

They did. But we had control of the map, and the heavy weapons. I walked around the map killing the eniemes that had them, and the ones the hiding in the bunkers.

We both had a lot of kills. The Hog gunner was in first. I was in second. I wish Reach has map control like in Halo 2, and Hal0 3.

That match was obviously a rout, but even in more even matches you always had this lapse of things back and fourth, like a football match, sometimes being on defense, and then on offense. It's just not there in Reach somehow.

"In life not all Yale students were smart, but all smart people were Yale students."
With a simple connection, almost, if not all serious Halo players are now considered dumb.
If you disagree with the above quote:
You may have realized how people can take something out of context.

343's forums are full of the kids that left here because they got their feelings hurt.

They know deep down that they're retarded and don't like hearing it. I set them straight over there every once in a while.

OT - FUGGIN JETPACK.

The irony is killing me....

But in related news, sword block is definately the worst. Makes the energy sword virtually useless.

What I loved about Halo 3. Is that everybody started out the same. The only things that change the battle is:
-Skill.
-Map control.
-Vehicle control.
-Weapons you pick up.
-Weapon/Equipment control.

Reach got ride of most that.
-There still is skill. But Bloom removes a lot of it though. In a DMR fight. Instead of winning to do better aim, and control. You win by being the luckiest.
-You can still do map control. But some of the armor abilities like sometimes removes it.
-Do to weaker vehicles it make it harder to control the map with them.

The reason why I think that you can't survive for no more than 30 seconds in a warthog is because DMR shots practically go through a Warthogs' armor like butter. Stupid Bungie made every vehicles' armor weak as hell.

The DMR can even blow up both tanks. It's tank its heavily armored. But it can somehow destroy it. Even the assault Rifle can blow up a tank. The only bullet based weapon that should be able to harm vehicles is the Sniper Rifle. Becasue it's a Anti-Matériel weapon.

I'm scared to see what Bungies next game is like.
