lemme break it down for ya:
halo 1 was more of a.........skillz game if u will. someone had the sniper? no problem, you have one too in the form of pistol. the maps were designed so that it was based on how your level of play matched up w/ someone elses
now halo 2 is a weapons game. its pretty much "lets see who can get the sniper and rockets the fastest? the maps were designed for some ppl to excel and others to just suck. take lockout for example. everytime i play there i get bent over. ivory tower? time for YOU to grab your ankles
me, im more of a wide open kinda playa. that close quarters stuff can suck my black.........u know
my BR owns
And running around with a mini-sniper pistol thats basically instant death for anyone in your path takes skill? PLLLEASE.
with the pistol you actually had to aim, and lead your target. i bet you consider the BB/PP a skilled combo. that's even more cheap than the 1st pistol.
No the nub combo takes as much skill as shooting a rocket at a warthog does. The auto-aim your talking about is Bungie's fault for adding it in not the guns fault. Not like its sooo difficult to shoot at a moving target without it.
I would take the nub combo over pistol only because it works at only a set range. I wish both never return though, they were unbalanced and cheap.
