Subject: SInce Halo 3 is being made, do you think you'll play as the arb...

Strange evolution how people have come to believe
That we are it's greatest achievement
We're barely, we're just a collection of cells
Overrating themselves

yes, no, maybe so?

Yes. Hopefully, you won't play as him that much though. We know the covenant's side of the story now. We don't need further detail relayed from the covenant point of view, just from the humans. I say we save the world and play as our favorite hero Chief the whole time.

Well... it would be stupid for bungie to just drop part of their story in the sequel that is starting meer minutes where the last left off...

So I think it will be required.

Yes Because he is with Johnson at the end. You should be able to play as a grunt called "Gruntworth"

Actually, I want to say without a doubt. Personally, I think it would be awesome to play as the leader of the Elite uprising =D

I loved playing as the Arbiter. The active camo was the ultimate sweet spot.

Don’t get mad if I flame you because you cannot spell, or because my three year old has better grammar and etiquette than you.

I want to, I know I want to see how his story plays out. It wouldnt make sense to drop that aspect of the game. I do think a bit less of him would be good, but I know I will miss the active camo, that was fun to toy with.

if they give the mc new armor dont you think they will give the arbiter new armor too. if they do that would be a wierd coinsidence so i hope the leave the arbiter out.

People hate the Arby because they say his mission stunk; But guess what, that has nothing to do with the Arby, that has to do with Bungie designing BAD levels that were not fun to play through.

SO yes I want to play as him.

I loved arbiter he was so loyal to the covenant just after coming back from a failure he wanted to go back and fight.

Look for the signs, the keepers of the flame.
They will lead you to war, and perhaps, to victory.

Finish the Fight

AMEN. I'd rather not play as him at all, bt i know we most likely will have to. i don't mind seeing his cutscenes, but i want to be the chief.

Active camo was damn useful. Other than that there wasn't much of a difference. I would play as him, but it seems unlikely he'll get there very quickly.

Yes. It'd leave a hole in the story.

The Arbiter was cool I actually enjoyed playing as an Elite more than a Spartan. It was a nice change of pace.Hopefully you can play as him in Halo 3.

Just one point i want to make...I know that many people liked being the arbiter [i did not], and many people wanted him to play drastically different from the chief. I have to wonder why one would want to play a Halo game and not have it play like a Halo game. Commanding grunts and having super-powerful melee's cus your an elite or any other sort of weird gameplay mechanic might sound cool in concept, but when executed, it would most likely be complicated and very un-halo.

My two cents :)

Um...You dont really command anything, they just follow you untill they die or get lost and the melee attack is the same.

When did you ever comand grunts or have super powerfull melee attacks?

Obviously you didn't do that in Halo 2, but I've read many-a post about how people wanted the Arbiter to be drastically different from the chief, i.e. have more exclusive "powers" like invisibility. I never said that those things actually happened in Halo 2.
