We all had difficulty adjusting from Halo 1's invincible vehicles to Halo 2's fragile "made in China" vehicles.

In Halo 3, should Bungie go back to Halo 1's style and make the vehicles invincible? Or should they suck like in Halo 2?

You should have the option to turn the destruction on or off in customs.

I think they should be destructable, BUT make them a little more resistant to damage and take away the stupid rocket tracking, if you didn't have rockets and got into a vehicle it is almost always a death wish. The old rocket launcher was much better, actually felt big and powerful.

And also have the option to turn it on and off.

Yeah, make them suck. I don't like that it was unrealistic. If I shoot something in a game, I want it to break, otherwise it just isn't very much fun.

yeah, vehicles should be destructive AND have seperate health to the players

I for sure thought that the destructible vehicles feature was an upgrade in everybodies eyes. Apparently not. I personally think it would be a very stupid thing on Bungie's part, to go back to indestructible vehicles, but the reason the vehicles are so fragile might have something to do with the fact that YOU ARE USING GUNS, GRENADES, AND ROCKET LAUNCHERS!!!!!!

It was ok the way in Halo 2. You shouldnt complain about how rockets kill u easily by locking on. If they didn't track the vehicles, it would be so hard to kill a person in a vehicle. Don't be complaining that you're dieing from rockets. That's so noobie. The vehicles are strong enough. A rocket would blow up a car...

diffenetly destructible. I hated the invincibility on H1. BUt the vehicles were a little too destructible in H2. I dont think the game is very realistic if your tank can get blown up by Br fire.

Exactaly, Shoot a m16 at the engine of a humvee, um...it'll explode. OR catch fire like a warthog. It's realisitic. A tank can take two rockets in this game, usually real tanks can only take one. Plus. IF the enemy happened to kill all vehicle people in assault, and if they were indestructable, you have an army going toward your base. In Halo 2, you can blow the vehicles and keep them out of enemy hands.

Yes, I think you have something there. Certain Vehicles should definitely hold up better than others. The Ghost should suck, and the Tanks shoud have to be killed by multiple rocket stikes to the same place, a grenade in the cockpit, or another tank. That's it.

I agree, i really miss launching my arse off of a scorpion while in a ghost just to see how high i can go. Also, be able to turn off fall dmg so u can pull off more sweet tricks... but definitely make em destructable and have fall dmg for SP and ranked matches

What the fuuck does that mean, bittch? You saying that stuff made in China is cheap shiit? Cause what you just said is complete fuucked up bull. So shut the fuuck up and go back to playing with your tiny nizzle. By the way, where you from, biitch? You make fun of my country, then you fuucking mess with me and my gees. Don't let me catch your fuucked up face in here again. Got it, biitch? Good, cause you better. Now get out.

Another thing.
You're nothing but cheap shiit yourself.

Well, I think that it should depend on multiplayer setting. Also they should bring back the option of infinite grenades. But the vehicles, or atleast some vehicles, should be more resistant. Rocket damage is fine as is, but small arms fire should be less effective against vehicles, save critical spots (back of Wraith, Ghost's energy tank thing, etc.). Warthogs can outrun rockets if the driver is skilled enough, so what exactly are you complaining about? That you are a noob? Simple solution - don't drive TOWARDS the guy with rockets... drive AWAY. But the vehicles should definitely be a hybrid of Halo:CE and Halo 2's. And like I've posted before... if you lock on with rockets, then they should do less damage, have less splash, and take longer to lock. Actually, I just thought of a great idea. When enemies lock on to your vehicle, a small warning should appear. Not a blaring wailing, but a red diamond should show up on the shooter, or a red arrow, sort of the like the NAV signals in Halo:CE. It shouldn't stick around either... it should show up for 2 or 3 seconds, and then disappear.
