Yes I know there is already a thread about this but it lacks a poll and I wish for Bungie to see how the public feels about this.

Really if we want ourselves to be heard on this topic we need to spam them with poles showing what we want.

I personally will be voting yes for reinstating health and fall damage. Whatever your choice may be I only hope that Bungie actually listens. This is not a place to spam or flame about this topic merely post your vote and leave a remark stating who you are and how you voted.

So long as you do not leave an insulting arguement in your post you may also leave the reasoning behind your choice. Now remember be nice.

very wise...

it makes no sense that health meters were removed in halo 2

it's part of a general consensus by bungie to "stupefy" gameplay.

fall damage forces you to balance, which also de-noobs the game

acording to the sticky you should now be banned for saying noob
anyway...i dont think that removing the heaklth meter was stupid per say...it just was a different way of presneting the game
i dont care either way if it comes back

Health is key. It's nice to know when you will die. Plus, if you walk into a room and get obliterated, but don't quite die then you pay the price by having lower health.

Fall damage should be there, but not as much as Halo 1. If there were fall damage in Halo 2 we wouldn't have that superjumping problem.

yes fall damage should return in H3 why you say maybe because it added to realism when it was in the game now I know the Chief is a supersoldier but he still should get injured if he falls from a high height.

Ehh i like the fall damage and health system just the way they are now. It's nice not to have to go running around the map looking for a health pack all the time. And as for fall damage, yeah it would fix superbouncing but i think there are better ways to fix it, and it would run into problems with the sword probly. You are on a ledge not ten feet up, you look down and see someone runing below you, you lunge at him and die because you hit the ground too hard. And having it based on how long you are in the air would just be stupid.

Bring back the health system and fall damage? Just no. The fall damage and health system from Halo: CE was completely unrealistic. Spartans can come through the atmosphere of a planet, hit the ground at terminal velocity and live to fight. No fall damage. When the Chief's shields are down it seems he is practically in casual clothing the way he takes hits. He is wearing the same material they put on the tanks and for some reason every bullet that hits him happens to go right through the armor and in between the armor plates, right down to flesh. Health system = Unrealistic the way it was.

I want health and fall damage back in Halo 3.

In Halo 2, you could be filling someone full of lead, and they're about to die, but all they have to do is hide for a few seconds and they're 100% healed again. WTF.

Taking out fall damage was stupid too, I liked how in Halo 1 you had to think before you jumped.

NO, I hate when I'm jumping around and get hurt. It's really lame. I guess it wouldn't be that bad, but what about super jumps. Dieing after a super jump would be really uncool.

Super Jumping is cheating, so yeah, you SHOULD die. That is the only time I would accept fall damage.

if anyone has read the books they have fallen several hundred feet and survived...

im more for book realism then i am game...

granted they took damange but any other person would be mush on the ground in the book...

i say no to fall damage...maybe to health bars....only because it makes you play more conservitevly

In response to this....Sword lunge is cheap. I Hope they take it out(the lunge, not the sword) and make it a pure melee weapon. If not, I hope you do die due to fall damage from the lunge. With no lunge, the kills you get with the sword will actually be deserved and it will not be the "coveted" weapon as it is now on alot of maps.

Fall damage added more to the game. It took skill to be able to crouch at the right time so you don't get hurt.

I'm up for a compromise. How about full fall damage and/or health bar in Multiplayer and not in Campaign?

No to both

Health: Ever been on legendary and been at the end of the map with one red blip left with a room full of flood, covenant or sentinels? Endless hours of forcing oneself through those situations or restarting maps was kinda boring as for multiplayer, looking for medkits wasn't fun either, even how good you were, leaving you with little health after a battle was like leaving you for the vultures, those who saw the fight but wasn't in the line of fire that is.

Fall damage: Same as above, accidentaly fall, loose hp, enemies in line of sight will come for you, easy frag, even though you can crouch to avoid fall damage, there are times where you are so distracted that you don't notice that you are falling.

Yea not only that he does weigh 2000lbs, not 200lbs. 2000lbs plus gravity makes for a nice splatter so Yes bring it back. It affected you decision on when to jump and how to get out of a situation. Make you think.
Health bar bring back. maybe regenerate slowly but you can still see when you are about to die.

Those without swords can still die upon them.

Im not sure. No health but fall damage that effects shields. It would help superjumping indeed.

I'd love to be a 10 year old and tell my mom I'm going on an adventure out into the world catching Pokemon, with her full support. Never mind the fact that there are rapists, criminals, and murders out there, or the fact that I may get killed by a Pokemon.

Luckily I have Pikachu.

Health is just stupid now, I don't wanna waist 2 minutes in a Online match looking for a Healthpack (that may have been used allready) when I could be out there grabing some kills.

Brining Health packs back in H3 would just be dumb as hell... And Bungie knows it!!!!!

Help a brother out. Click on the referral link, sign up for a fun game, log in once for the next couple of days, then you never have to think about it again!

And yes. I understand how pathetic that is, but nobody reads these things anyway... right?

I voted leave them both out (but what I really wanted was a halo 2 system). In Halo 2, there is a health system. It is just not visible or replenishable. a good test of this is get within distance of a grenade to where it doesn't kill you, but it takes down all your shield. Stay the same distance then repeat. Eventually (if not after the second), you will die. Also, on no shield games, the health is obvious because of the fact that one hit anywhere doesn't kill them.
