I like halo how it is, keeping their own style. Its what ive been playing for years now and its what im used to. If you made it more like tactical (rainbow six or whatever the options are) it would not be as addictive anymore, it would be trying to compete with something that already mastered their own little "genre" of games. If you changed halo into a game like call of duty or rainbow six or battlefield im sure it would be a hit for a month or two because all of the younger players that are addicted to cod and tactical might try because all they do is jump on the bandwagon, then it would ultimately fall down in active gamers once a new tac game comes out or if they got bored of this (cod like) halo game because its outmatched by The line of games they already have in place for that play style. Halo to me is more then just a game, its a journey with your friends, all the experiences you had and how those will always be there, not to mention video proof of it in the Theater mode! you also wait till the next halo is out to buy and beat it with your friends, its a cycle in my eyes that shouldn't be broken. I don't think they should change the franchise style at all. I've had halo reach for a year or so now i didn't really keep track aha but its still fun as hell to play, every game is a new experience to me, no matter if i played the game type or map 1000 times, I cant do that with most games. I bet even if i went back to play halo3 with some of my friends it would be a blast no matter what. Thats just my opinion on the topic.
