If you're swimming in a creek, and an eel bites your feet - that's a moray.
4-player online co-op would rule.
That being said, I'd also like to see perhaps two different campaigns - one for 1- or 2-player, one for 3- or 4-player.
I also can't imagine we'd go the entire game without playing as Arbiter again, and since I also imagine at some point MC and Arbiter would play alongside one another, it naturally follows that at some point 2-player co-op would include one player as MC and the other as Arbiter - in the case of 1-player, the player should either have to complete the stage twice (once as each) or have the ability to choose which he'd rather play as before the level starts.
I'd also love to see Halo 3 evolve into not only squad-based warfare (4-on-4, 6-on-6, 8-on-8, etc.), but to grow into a MMOFPS - with the potential for 32-on-32 or some shizno on XBL. That would rule as well.
Regardless, I'm currently of the opinion that I will consider purchase of an Xbox 360 and this new-fandanged game "Halo 3" when it is released...
...maybe.
If it comes down to Halo 3 and an Xbox 360 or my wife and kids, I'll have to think about it, but I can always get remarried and have more kids...
