Listen, I appreciate your enthusiasm towards Halo but you really need to read the Halo novels.

the only one I haven't read is Glasslands smart one. And where does it even mention the arbiter anywhere else? Besides Cole Protocol that being Thel Vadamee. But thats before the events of halo one.

Which is exactly why I said that, not to mention if you paid attention to the cutscenes of the game you would understand that the Covenant is disbanded, therefore no hierarchs.

Not everything in Legends can be seen as truth, Cortana is just explaining her views on things and given that she's rampant her data is probably corrupted.

Also, are you talking about the Elite and Brutes still fighting? You'll have to clarify. One last thing, it's Arbiter, not Arbitor. The other Elites that call him that have an accent.

This man, this man right here put it so eloquently that I actually cancelled my own 2000+ word long post.
/slow clap for respect

The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

yes. Those two were the ones mentioned fighting. It wasn't cortana speaking in that one. It was a banished elite on the planet he burned a mark into. I think the planet was Kholo.

To be honest, when I first saw all this in the weekly update I thought 2 things.
#1- there is an actual legendary ending but,
#2- No matter what anyone does,(kill all the bobs, hit all switches etc) that until the "time" mentioned in "There'll be another time..." is reached there won't be a legendary ending.

The weekly update by bungie has slowed my hardcore search for what unlocks the legendary ending.

A covenant CIVIL war! Watch the end scene of Halo 3 kid. (not the legandary ending) Arbiter Returns to Sanghelios after the Battle of The Ark with R'Tas Vadum in The Shadow of Intent.

We werent talking about the third game dude. And I'm not a kid. Novels, legends, how about you read what the conversations about before you blurt out stuff like that. For the record, i've played all of the games out there.

Thank you for clarifying. It's not a civil war anymore though, as the Covenant has been disbanded. The Covenant religion has been proven false to a majority of Elites, so there will be no more hierarchs.

That wasn't Legends, that was Halo: Evolutions. Then it was on Waypoint. The Brutes and Elites would continue fighting, but demonstrated at the Ark with Rtas being outnumbered yet still wins, The Elites would win advantually.

I doubt anyone knows yet. As of now, the Humans view Thel as the Elite leader, but other Elites don't hold that belief. So for now, it's just back to their old way of life.

I think a new sangheilo will rise up if not having Thel as leader. It would be cool to introduce a new character.

As of now there are two candidates for deciding the fate of the Elites. I don't want to spoil much more, so stop speculating on awnsers most of us know and buy Glasslands.
