Easy Fix for the Banshee, is to have it flips drain its power, 2 or 3 flips and it would need to recharge.

This would still make the Banshee good, but if trying to Spawn Trap, with only 2 or 3 flips, it would have to retreat or it would easily be shot down by DMR fire.

This would give you a chance to get out of Spawn Trap.

This would also make it a lot easier to target with rockets, you could sit back and watch, and when it had done its 2 or 3 flips, Fire Away. You know you would get the kill, because it had no more flips left.

I think this is the easiest and best possible fix. If it can be done.

This is Not just to prevent Spawn Trapping.

The banshee is powerful, and I think this is the easiest way to fix. It would still be powerful, you just don't have unlimited flips.

3 is proabaly a good number. But would require full power, if you have done any boosting, you can only do 2 flips. each flip uses one 3rd of your power.

This maybe something "343" could implement to Halo4.

To be fair I can see what you mean believing that flips should take a bigger toll on the banshee's boost meter than merely just boosting forward

I have used the banshee to Spawn Trap, im not the best flipper, but can do OK. But the other team have a hard chance to shoot you as you can flip and flip.

he really good pilots are amazing. You can still do a few flips, you just can't flip over and over for an entire game. This would just make the Banshee more fair.

Really good pilots will still get alot of kills, they can't dominate for an entire match, as you should have a greater chance of taking them now.

I just think this seems fare. If you reduce the weapons, that would suck more, it think this is the best option.

I can see where you are going with this, and I think the idea is a good one. I just think the implementation needs to be cleaned up a bit. Maybe another meter that is separate from the boost meter? This separate meter could be much like the evade equipment in that you get two charges and then there is a time that you have to wait for it to recharge.

How about if Bungie made the Banshee right on the first try? I'm quite tired of seeing things in Reach go un-used because of how useless or how previously OP they were but then got nerfed. I'd be willing to say over half the stuff put into the game goes un-used and forgotten.

Next time, please do things right Bungie.

Im fine with this, what ever works.

But using the same meter means you have to be aware. If I boost, I lose a flip.

The ggod thing about this, is that it makes you think. Flips or boost, you do your 3 flips, you have no boost to get away fast.

You do 2 flips, you still have plenty of boost to get away.

Having choices that impact outcomes, is a good idea.

Banshee doesn't need a nerf to provide players with an opportunity to break the spawn trap, they spawn with the weapon that wrecks it anyway.
