Why the hell do people keep on complaining about the graphics? Personally i thought they looked really good as everything was bump mapped. In fact i thought it was better looking than last years E3 single player demo.

They look beautiful. If this is how they are in the final version, I really don't see how anyone could complain.

i agree. and considering that the video settings are toned down for multi-player, they look ridiculous. campaign mode is going to be absolute eye candy. i think perhaps many people out there have very poor quality monitors, or have played HALO too much and are suffering from some very, VERY poor eyesight.

The fact is ive heard someone complaining about the bump mapping on the arm when he holds a battle rifle and that the energy sword looks like its made of glass! I almost laughed my head off.

I can understand the part about the energy sword, allthough I really like it.
It is totally different from the first game (or from the single player?), so I understand that not all people are happy with it.
I don't think anyone can have serious complaints about the graphics, as they look awesome (that's a fact ! ), and the single player will give us the eye-candy, while the multiplayer will keep the gameplay alive... That's how I see it. I buy the game for the single player, and when I've got enough of the eye-candy, I challenge my brother and friends (and parents, but they don't like videogames, so they never play 'em :-) ). That way I can keep enjoying the fabulous gameplay, without it getting repetitive.

I see nothing wrong with the graphics. The only thing I can see why someone would, is if they are comparing the graphics to Ninja Gaiden. Ninja Gaiden has the best graphics I've ever seen. Especially the cut-scenes. But Halo 2 just isn't that kind of game.
