I apologize in advance if this has already been brought up, but the search bar didn't return anything particularly relevant.
I was looking through my post history today, reminiscing on old times when I noticed that there doesn't seem to be any specific way to search for threads exclusively authored by you. That is of course, unless I'm missing something.

I tried looking through my post history (which only shows a limited number of all posts made), and searching the forums for my name only brought up where I was quoted or explicitly mentioned.

If there is a way to search exclusively for threads authored, I'd appreciate the info. If there's not, that would certainly be a neat feature that could be implemented in with the post history. I thought it would be pretty cool to look back and see if the quality of my threads has increased over time.

Thanks Screw!

Hi. My name is Sean. I've been a Bungie fan since Halo launched. Some of my interests include games, exercising, laser tag, martial arts, movies, music, sports, and technology. Feel free to contact me at any time.

The search feature does not have that option. I would suggest saving the threads you create so you may refer back to them here if you need to.

I considered that after I made my post. The problem is, I (and I'm sure mostly everyone) didn't think to save every thread I've created. I suppose that would be an effective method going forward.

It would be nice to be able to view not only your own, but others' thread history. That way, you could better judge the type of forum goer you're interacting with, as well as the quality of their contributions.

I realize this isn't an essential feature, but if it would be easy to implement, it would be nice to have.

I agree.

I was a finalist :P

Yep. I'd love a function (being a special search bar, or something similar) which would enable you to see threads a user has created. It would probably be something along the lines of another "domain" in the B.net search bar (similar to searching for Halo Reach gamertags, groups, news, ect).

Sounds like a nifty idea, I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to implement but what do I know? I definitely think that the search bar could do with an update nonetheless like Cryptic said.

I'd love a function like that. I can see it being really useful, and I can't imagine it being too difficult to implement.

I agree.

That's a lot of options... There are a lot of excellent ideas in there. Having a search bar capable of all those functions would be incredibly useful.

I agree.

I figured you'd probably have come up with a feature like this before Cryptic.

More than likely, we'll probably never see this come to fruition because it isnt a necessary feature. I suppose we can always cross our fingers and hope it gets lumped in with the next site update.
