Subject: Pattern halo fans should recognize....??

Womp.

In the FAQ, it says the pattern on the dome thing "should be recognized by Halo fans", or somethin of that text. After looking at it, and now that i think about it its pretty obvious, but isn't that the Forerunner style? Like the walls in the Library or some levels in Halo 2?

the only logical explanation would be a forerunner ship... it does look like the patters in the library, and elsewhere on halo... but part of it reminded me of the forerunner ship that was launched at the end of halo 2, like this was a hangar of some sort for it...

It also vaguely reminded me of the insides of the Forerunner ship (like the outside on the Multiplayer level "Gemini").

Yes i agree Black , besides the fact that its not purple. It does remind of the forunner building in the library. I cant wait to see future trailors to see what other info they give us.

For some strange reason it reminds me of the Zanzibar ring. The pattern in the side give me a feeling of that. And wasent Zanzibar a Forerunner facility or something of that sort?

  • 05.09.2006 4:37 PM PDT

it looks like the concept image they had on the Halo 2 LE dvd - halo fans would have bought the LE no matter what

and that they did :)

Looking at it, yeah. It sort of has a similar configuration to how the Covenant built High Charity's main dome.

the patterns on the plates rising up+ the underground dome has a striking resembelance to that of the city of High Charity without the plates. does that mean high charity has that, too? Is that what the covenant were looking for on Reach?
