With Halo 3 we will need some new gametypes other than just killing each other in different ways. We need more strategy and a game with AI could help with that. So bungie could make a gametype called conquest which is like territories but when you gain a territory you get a set amount of AI (marines, grunts ,elites ,hunters) and you must get all the territories which will be called areas. Please post your ideas so we can get enough posts to be recognized and maybe they will make it.

the bots should be non spartans and normal elites if some of the bots would be spartans or normal elites then it would be harder to tell if you killed a person or a bot bots only for offline and online multiplayer

wouldnt it be cool if you could set the map for like a containment type level and have to defend the base agianst like infininant flood

I was thinking some custom map from warcraft could be a fun model, like DoA

for those who don't know what DoA is:

DoA is a map with 2 bases and several roads leading to each other. At both bases there are spawn points for creeps, in this case it would be marines, elites, grunts and other not playable characters, these creeps would spawn at the entrance at the home base and take that road that is closest, then in the middle of it, the 2 sides would colide in a battle, the 2 spawned forces are equally strong so at the end of the battle there are only a few living creeps left, these are easily taken out by the new enemy group. There are usually 3 differnet major roads, then roads from them to each other, creeps don't use those. Then there are some areas that you can hide in, or camp in. Killing creeps gives you gold to upgrade your items and buy better items, to kill more creeps and the opposite side.

Something equal would be quite fun, but not desired I guess

When I say this I mean it that is the BEST idea I have heard...but for choosing which alien or marines people who create their conquest (like creating zombies from slayer) can choose which aliens/marines and where maybe!

Halo's a hell of a drug.

defending bots is a great idea. help slow the enemy down a bit.
