Subject: If your K/D ratio is below 1 or just above it

Life is like a clogged toilet. It's full of crap until you do something about it.

I don't speak Karate!

I enjoy reach, I suck, and I don't play like that.

heh. i love how his team gets sick of him running up there at the end.

  • 12.20.2011 2:20 PM PDT

Why is it a big mystery what was going through his mind? His -blam!- gamertag says he only melees.

He simply ran out of options.

I have taken to betraying any team mate who even LOOKS at the yellow lift.

Surprising how quickly they get the message when its a team-mate killing them instead.

  • 12.20.2011 3:27 PM PDT

As far as I'm concerned the yellow lift is obsolete.

That and the raip room on Powerhouse. I don't even know what's in there - aside from raipists.

They should just remove DERPbase from matchmaking. Its awful.

  • 12.20.2011 3:35 PM PDT

i can cast no stone, as i suck.

and yes, seeing someone even worse than me makes me chuckle and feel a touch of 'boss-ness' when i kill them over and over.

but whatever. not everyone puts in huge time and i'd venture to guess that a lot of players now are completely new to the game (i saw that Reach now comes with the 360) which is why i get to feel all good about myself from time to time.

then i get in a match with good kids and get owned / pwned / detroyed / raped / mouth f'd etc.

it's all relative man o chevitz

gt: inner ted

if you really want to see how bad it can be. though i did have a good btb game last week where i went +17 i think. felt super, but realized that many of the above described folks were on the other team. i swear i killed the same dude over and over on the same flight of stairs.

Everyone is entitled to their own wrong opinion.

I'm part of the Bungie.net Minecraft group/server called SeptaCrafters
We're a Bungie.net group that goes to our very own Bungie server. Most players are from the Halo community either off Bungie itself or through word to Halo friends.

Its to bad the I MEELE ONLY 2 kid uses guests to boost medals.

You most likely play like this

I don't understand how you people can be this dumb. I mean, it's not even up to your aiming skills, it's up to your mental capabilities.
This guy has a K/D ratio of 1.20, two perfections and one extermination. Many of you can't even achieve one of these things, even though you don't have the handicap of not using weapons.

I'm baffled.

Or maybe it's just the fact that we have the ability to play for fun and not have to camp or use cheap tactics in order to achieve a high kill death ratio. Or maybe its because all good gamers realise that it really doesn't matter what your KD is, as long as you had fun during the game. I've came out of a game with a KD of -35 and laughed my **** off during the whole game because the game was fun, and the people I played with were fun to play with. On the flipside i've come out of games with a +35 KD and thought "wow that was boring I think i'm gonna have a break from reach". Yeah I can get competitive too. But its not always about winning.

I am alpha, i am omega.

I am the last of the primes.

From a person with a 2.35 k/d ratio here are some reasons

1. Don't go charging into the middle of the map and start firing with an ar against the 1st person you see.

2. Always change your method

3. Strafe and move from side to side in CQC.

4. Headshots

5. Stick with your team in 8 vs 8

  • 01.07.2012 7:23 PM PDT

k/d doesn't mean much. my k/d is 2, and all of my friends k/d's are much lower, yet they do much better in competitive playlists

  • 01.07.2012 7:25 PM PDT

I play nothing like that.

Marine Corps.
Semper Fi.

My problems [with Reach] are basically just full parties, mlg, and people who go out of their way not to get killed.

I crash Banshees into walls and ceilings.

Today is a good day to be a Spartan

Click on the video, before it starts, you notice the general who rendered it.

That's him.

No I just play the objective, and I am willing to die to earn a win, unlike the rest of the Reach community.

So why do you lose over half your games in Team Objective?

Mindlessly rushing the objective does not make you an objective player.

How does game experience have anything to do with this? Basic levels of intelligence would tell you not to go up there if you died a second time to the exact same people.

look at this as well. How long would it have gone on if his much more intelligent team mates didn't intervene?

OP left out the fact that you're k/d could be low because of your teammates being like this kid.
