Quoted from the Bungie FAQ on Halo 3: Q :I spotted an Easter Egg in the trailer after I watched it a few times. How do you explain that?A: The New Mombasa City Council had an incredibly efficient public works department until and even during the tragic and devastating Covenant invasion.I'm not seeing this easter egg. What is it? Point it out please. Is this another ILoveBees? Sorry if this is a dreadfully repeated topic already.

There is a grunt on the sign that is rattling on the ground at the beginning.Probably signifies to humans that this is a grunt crossing, meaning the area is not safe.[Edited on 5/9/2006]
The circles in the background are debree (sp?) of the bridge from Halo 2.
I don't really buy that the easter egg is just the Grunt X-ing sign. It's very obvious and why would they go so far as to put that in the FAQ? Then again...I may just be looking too far into this.
Ah. The grunt crossing sign would make sense with the answer in the FAQ. Thank you.
