Subject: When You're In A Thread And Want To Exit To The Main Forums.......

The banner because it just makes sense.
It makes more sense to hit the button that was specifically designed to accomplish the task at hand.

I usually click the Forum Topics button.

I tend to use the Forum Topics button, even though I do accidentally hit Save Thread occasionally.

Assuming CrazzySnipe55 is correct (which I believe to be the case, but I may be mistaken) the button was only designed to make it obvious that it would to take you back. Both the banner and the button were "specifically designed to accomplish the task at hand," it's just that the banner's function was not clear enough.

The banner is much larger, more conveniently placed and there is no issue of clicking the wrong button, so I prefer to use it.

I either hit the back button

I don't like using the back button because if I already posted it takes me back to my post and its all weird. And Chrome also asks me to confirm something.

I click the banner.

Generally, I click the "Create New Topic" button, make another "Hey community, what's your opinion on ______?" thread, then manually type in the URL from memory for the forum I want to view in the address bar from the new thread's page.

jk, <3

OT: I click the banner if I'm going back to the same forum. Otherwise dropdowns for other forums and my Group Forum Menu greasemonkey script for private groups.

It is truly amazing to see people defend their side so valiantly even when it is over something so meaningless.

Loose talk is noose talk.

I used to click forum topics, but my mouse kept missing and hitting save thread instead.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

You can click the banner too???
That's what a banner is?????

I know. It's one of the things I love about this Community, even if it makes us stubborn sometimes.

I agree, the way I said it makes it sound like a bad thing, but the willingness to fight for what we believe in is truly a great quality.

This, and the banner is just to far to move the cursor. Also, the Forum Topics is for the MLG Pro's who can hit smaller targets.

It only takes a simple question to change everything.
