Halo 2 > Halo 3 > Halo 3 ODST > Halo Reach > Halo CE

Based on campaigns.

So, i hear that at the very beginning of ODST, you can see a ship that Master Chief is on.

What is the ship and when is Master Chief there during the vents of Halo 2?

As of now, I am confused. I would have thought that ODST happened at the end of Halo 2 because at the beginning of ODSTa Buck sees lots of dead elites killed by brutes.

Yes, if you look closely you can see it by Regret's ship but its very small compared to the giant Covenant ship.

The ship is a Frigate called "In Amber Clad." ODST takes place during the levels Delta Halo up until the end of Halo 2 to the start of Halo 3.

This is what i dont understand. The Great Schism only happened at the very end of Halo 2.

No, it happens during Halo 2. It starts in the level Gravemind.

If you look around, you can see that there is Spiker ammo in the wall around the dead Elites' bodies.

Exactly, Gravemind is near the end of Halo 2, and Delta Halo is near the beginning of Halo 2. But in the first mission of ODST, Tayari Plaza, which apparently happened during Delta Halo, the Great Schism has already happened because the brutes have killed all the elites.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat?

Interesting
It is, that's one of the things I loved about ODST, little details that you wouldn't think about if you weren't a gamer.

I think a prime example of this is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. One of the things that truly showed off the power of the Nintendo 64 (Back then) was the translucent effect when you look at the stone the Great Deku tree gives you.

For clarification; Delta Halo/Regret are the middle levels and also are MC levels.

The next 2 levels are Sacred Icon and Quarantine Zone which are taking place at the same time as DH/Regret.

The next level is Gravemind which is back to MC so seeing as how DH/Regret is basically one plot level and the very next MC level is Gravemind it seems that it works because Gravemind is not as near the end as it is the middle of the whole game.

It was only at the end of Regret that Tartarus appeared, I think but I can't remember for sure.

Oh i see

Still doesnt make sense, in ODST the Great Schism has happened before Arbiter is sent to get the Sacred Icon
