Do some people think their channel of playing is the only one? I'm just gonna put this out there ok. Sometimes it seems like the pros' rationality is if I miss a shot when he makes a shot then I'm a bad shot. If I make a shot when he misses a shot then it's bull crap. If I get a kill and he can't understand why then I'm lucky. Some people in Halo seriously act like shooting is all that matters and they're completely oblivious to other factors like map movement, battle interferences, how you generally plan your moves and utilization of weapons, etc. Either that or so many compettitive crowd members just really think their play style is the only "good" one. The compettitive crowd thinks so many people hate them because they can't stand being -blam!- told their bad. And that's exactly the attitude that pisses us off.
You assume that everything is just about competition. We don't give much of a -blam!- in case you weren't paying attention. You guys are so -blam!- big headed and impatient. You think people get pissed at you because they can't take criticism. It's because you make everything so damn cold and try hard. It's because you always assume that when someone makes a thread like this that it's because they can't stand being bad. It's because we think you guys are ass mongers and we want to make our points too. When we say someone can "have a bad game" we don't just mean by chance. We mean that someone can outplay you. Because normal people understand that they can be outplayed because no one plays 100% consistently. And an average player will be outplayed by a better one sometimes. And I'm not -blam!- arrogant god damn it. I NEVER acted like I was. I see myself as a average player. Is that understandable? In Halo 3 I did do good most of the time. I never made it past level 13 in skill because I didn't know how to level up for a while and I DID NOT CARE. Earlier on in Reach too I think I had much better games, but I got bored now and the people I'm playing with have evened out in skill now. Sometimes I will just have better games because either I'll be put up against a worse team or I'll play a little differently by racking up kills with a warthog or something. Other players are a factor too and some may be better than you while others may play worse. Does that mean if you have a crappy game that all of a sudden all your other games don't count? It's about relativity. And so many competitive players see things in sharp and shallow relativity. I even hear you guys say sometimes that if you're not freaking ONYX then you're just bad. People play better or worse depending on their mood too. Hardcore players don't always go all out, but I'm gonna say this right now. I have no problem with accepting that I'm a bad player.
If I honestly think I'm sub par compared to most then I don't have to get butt hurt over it. You guys just see everything sharply. And you think just because you suggest a viewpoint that people are automatically supposed to agree with you. I do not think I am a bad player. I think I'm a Silver rank player who goes + sometimes because of either team chemistry, how I choose to play one game, my mood, etc. The same thing can also counts for if I play worse than usual. Or maybe I just got outplayed and if it's really obvious then I don't deny it because I'm not a competitive player.
I'm just not a hardcore gamer. Sometimes when I'm in a better non-bored mood to play then I'll usually play better. People lose games and people win games. If you're a pro and you do play good games a hell of a lot and then you lose a game does that instantly make you a noob or mediocre? There will be people will play generally better in games and maybe they are generally better, or maybe they spammed a lot of vehicles. It depends on how you see it. Sometimes there will just be situations where a player may get that once in a while killocolypse or a couple overkills, and that happens not always because of luck either. Because Situations will happen and a player may be sharp enough to take advantage when it comes up and do better. And if you're a pro who got into that once in a while bad situation just because you made a bad move then that doesn't automatically make you mediocre either. When regular players have those moments yes it can be considered "lucky", but there is always a underlying conscious influence that you have to take advantage of. I don't go for vehicles much anymore and neither do a lot of people in games. So maybe one time I decide to take the driver seat of a warthog and we end up mowing down the other team. Some players attitude is just "OMFG NOOB!" or "Damn vehicle *****!". I feel that way too at times and especially when it's the vehicle mow down, but they're just taking advantage of your gameplay and rationality in gaming.
Truth is it's not just competitiveness but it's in general on this forum. You guys love to make have nots and make people look like -blam!-s, but then you hate them. Maybe you're too hard and shallow. This forum is full of rebels who think "Oh ok guys most people have this attitude and think this. So let's act this way because we can get away with it.", but that doesn't make you any less dogmatic. And it's not like that. You guys think people are just shallowly oppressing you because they feel precious and don't want to admit things. That's rarely the case though. Maybe you're just being more destructive and uncooperative than you think, but you guys just always want to win to win. And I think you're selfish. You don't. You think the people you love to pick on are just losers but didn't we win a thousand times before? We couldn't get away with reaping our victory though because you had your fair and legit memes too. And we saw that. People stuck up for you, but now you just act so shallow and screw us over. I don't know ok I'm tired.
If you look real hard, you'll see a sailboat. :D
