I enjoy halo for it's story and when I am in the mood, its gameplay. Reach was significantly worse then I expected but was still a great game (minus the european hitscan fiasco). I am sitting on a two mile wide fence on the subject of halo 4. Most of the things I like a technical aspects though and not story or game play. Plus I am slightly mad they took my elites from MP.

Would you be interested in joining the CSF, or crusading spirit fleet an all elite, semi-competetive clan?

In order to join, you must complete the following requirements:
*Must favor the Covenant side of Halo as we are based off of Elite structure

*At least 14 years of age (or have the maturity of at least 14 years of age)

*Have a mic, or be able to accurately hear and listen to orders

*Have an understanding of discipline & respect

*Must be able to follow orders and learn call outs

* Positive k/d (or high skill), higher the better
-What we offer to you as a member:
*Regular Matchmaking Sessions including: Big Team Battle, Invasion, etc.

*A Professional website accurately depicting our clan and clan information

*A competitive ranking and squad system, creating new ways to prove yourself in Halo

*A game within The Covenant based on Halo Reach skill

*High level respectable members

*A very well put together command structure

*Clan Matches and Clan Events

-Ranking System
Our Ranking System is not like anything the other sangheili clans offer you. We keep things as canonical as possible. We do not house any ranks related to anime shows. We do offer however the most true and up to date ranking system available. There are both Ranks, which are signified by armor and color, and there are titles such as Aristocrat, Shipmaster, Sub Commander, and Assassin, which can be earned to gain additional status to your rank.

-A small amount of History
The Crusading Spirit Fleet has outlasted and overcome many different clans since our foundation back in the Halo 3 days of June 14th, 2010, and continues to be a strong force in the Halo community. Back then, our goal was to unify sangheili players and strengthen their talent through matchmaking to prove dominance over the UNSC, and continue to dominate today.

-We Are Not a Group!
Unlike the majority of Elite Players on Halo we are not ten-year-olds, as you can see by our requirements. When you join this Clan, you will be part of our community, with that you must make yourself present on our site from time to time, but Xbox Live is by far the more important. You will earn your rank not by how much you post but on how well you do in Battle and if you meet each rank requirements.

-Clan Matches
We are also actively seeking clans to have friendly clan matches with. We only do 8v8 matches, best 2 out of 3. One map and gametype chosen by your group, the second by us, then for the third we agree upon it. If you are interested, please contact us (see contact information).

-Contact information
If you are interested in joining, setting up a clan match, or just have questions, you may contact myself via PM or over XBL by adding myself, DxM Scotty MxD, to your friends list.

I. Basics
Introduction: Hello I am Private First Class Affliction of Alpha Company, Zulu PLatoon in the Dropshock Brigade, I'd like to offer you a chance to be in one of the most mature, active and structured Halo Reach clans around. Currently we have more than 50 members from six different countries. Our clan is filled with great members who like to have fun and be competitive. If this clan interests you, please read on:

II. What We Have To Offer
Gaming- Our clan has plenty of clan matches against other clans. We do plenty of matchmaking amongst ourselves, and also have practices throughout the week to improve our gameplay. In these practices, we not only learn new strategies but also improve chemistry amongst ourselves.

Entertainment- Our clan hosts multiple game nights every week for the enjoyment of everyone. Not only do our members attend but anyone who wishes to go may participate. The two Lieutenants in the Brigade create a podcast every week to keep everyone up to date and interested in the affairs of the clan. We regularily schedule clan matches to gain recognition among other clans and to form strong relationships between clans.

Professionalism- Our clan acts as respectful and professional as possible at all times. But, not only is our behavior professional, so is our website. Our website was created by scratch from our founder, Vitamin, and he has maintained it ever since. Just glancing at our website will show you just how serious we are, and will accurately express how we handle the clan.

Community- We have members from all over the globe and there will always be someone online. Our members are the reason the Brigade is special. Each of their individual efforts and personalities contribute to the Brigade's success for the past two years. We have a forum on our website where you can communicate with other personnel off xbox live. Our members are some of the most friendly and respectful peeple you could hope to meet over the internet. We are always looking out for each other, and are always looking to help one another.

Promotions- Promotions aren't easy to come by in the Brigade. If you want one, you need to work for it. Throughout your time in the Brigade, you will learn what it truly means to be a leader. You may think that it is just for gaming, but it teaches you lessons in life for the future.

III. Becoming a member

Enlisting: To get into the brigade, you must first register on our website and fill out the Enlistment Form. Make sure to fill everything out and read the page following the form.
This is where you begin your enlistment process which is kind of like a screening where you have to prove to us that you want to be in the clan. After you fill out the enlistment form, you need to stay active on both our website and on xbox live. During this time, you will have to obtain a sponsor, which is someone who looks after you and assists you with any problems or concerns you may have. If you have a sponsor and you have been a Recruit for at least a week, you will be eligible for bootcamp where we test you on your communication skills in the game. Finally, you take an exam that tests you on your knowledge of the Brigade.

If you have any questions check out our FAQ section.
Otherwise contact me on XBL, Gamertag is DSB Affliction.
See you on the battlefield.

When you stop running from a clan match I'll take you seriously

Your best bet is to search for a clan that interests you, all that will respond to this will be pre-made clan adds for groups that will treat you like a number.

I wonder if you have heard the rule of "scoring arks"?, though I can promise anyone that the CSF does not treat people like numbers - quite the opposite in fact. If you want a clan that will treat you like a number then the Sangheili Eminence is your best bet. Though they are a joke within clan circles

You were the first to spam your recruiter advert, then criticized the next person to post on, you are clearly just trying to boost your number of people.

Deny all you will, it's the OP's decision as to what interests him.

Sorry, but i just think the first 2 contradict eachother.

K/D is an awful thing to go by, it just shows who camps in objective most of the time. I would much rather have a low k/d guy who is great at getting the objective than a team of campers who -blam!- kill wise.

Actually I criticised them because in their advert they said they face clan matches regularly and yet they refuse to face us. So I said when they actually fight us I will take their clan seriously. That comment had nothing to do with numbers, or recruiting or anything other then the cowerdice they have shown towards our clan.

Which had what relevance to someone looking for a clan? You were trying to debase them to gain a member and you know it.

where to start here... Ok bracketed criteria is tested for in game which obviously not able to be tested without great expense on B.net, or Waypoint or xbox.com. Also how is having a K/D of 1.00 camping? no it says how many deaths you have to how many kills you have, it is a guideline to be tested against the braketed criteria. A benefit of setting high standards is that only thoose that want to join and get along with the clan try. It is a simple way of determining loyalty, which is a founding rule of our clan. I believe I have explained this satisfactory.

Again fail. I was taking a pop at them because I can never find them often enough to do it elsewhere. Do not presume to know me or my intentions, for I do not presume to know you or your intentions. I was simply fighting another battle on the same thread. Visit the Universe section, you'll see what multiple conflicts are...

  • 12.21.2011 8:12 PM PDT

If you knew why we won't battle you then I suggest asking someone who actually has visited our websie.

For one, we will not join have a match against you because you posted a thread at a time our FR members were busy and did not have time to get back to your thread. Afterwards getting no reply you rudely interrupted a important discussion being given in our chatroom by our Commanding Officer and badly tried to quite the Prophet of truth from Halo 3 saying our destruction is the wil of the gods at that you (CSF) were the their instruments.

And two, we will not have a clan match against you because even after you did that you proceeded to post in our comlink more rude phrases and insults. In one of your recruiting adverts I've seen you claim the CSF are mature members and that anyone wilshing to join must be honourable, loyal, mature and must show other such virtues. We neither retaliated against you nor insulted you in return.

I never said if you have a high KD you definitly camp, im saying more than likely, a guy with higher K/D is less likely to go for objective and more likely to camp....because it is true. And how is it a simple way of determining loyalty? if anything, a loyalty test should be anything but simple.

The questions are easy ad it's just to get to know what maps you like, weapons, and what your interests are. simple things like that. Dropshock brigade is like a family.
