RC Clone is the anti-thesis of a lurker.

You know what the change he's talking about was?

Bumping up the terribad beta jump height and movement speed to the slightly less terribad settings we got in retail. Barely anything at all.

Heard u played myy buddies in btb. How'd that go?

if you're referring to baby dragons/whales/whatevers then we won the first and lost the second and third. the first was pretty much controlled by us, the second was a gametype which no one on our team wanted, and one of our team quit and another lagged out, and the third was pretty even but lost only by some shabby defending on our part and a teammate not helping towards a team effort at all. if the gametypes had been different and the asshat on our team who didn't want to help or co ordinate had helped, the results would have been different.

The games were enjoyable. I dont get why the teams were trashing each other.

Why is hypocrite spelled with an E at the end?
The I in crite is not pronounce as eye.

So, on the one hand I spell it out exactly as it should be.
You follow the standard set before you by fools who can't even get a handle on the rules of their own language.

Baby Whalez and Baby Dragonzz are retards that have lost to me about fifteen times collectively in Team Throwback and Team Objective.

Bungie should consider investing in precipitation gathering nets for these forums. The sheer amount of tears shed by anyone who's been destroyed by armor lock, jet pack, grenades, and the AR could continuously operate hydroelectric dams, irrigate farms, and provide clean drinking water for third world countries.

What's that? MLG players being complete hypocritical dumbasses?

What a shocker.

Reach gives the illusion of feeling smooth and crisp like Halo 2 when compared to Halo 3. On its own I don't see how it could be lauded of all things.

Want a cool clan? Join FRAG!

Want a war sim? The best war sim in Halo, Forerunner Conflict.

lol, now they're making stuff up to cover their asses. Not a single pro would promote AAs, not a single pro would say that bloom was advantagous for skilled players, and certainly not a single profesional, intelligent, skilled player would support reach due to anything but it's massive customizability. That which can be used to fix the utter mess that is default reach.

  • 12.22.2011 8:38 PM PDT

also if you watched the debate between dmaq, neighbor,Gandhi etc

they said that they couldn't say anything or provide any info on how they felt about it,bungie just showcased it to them

You can't spell GARBAGE without AR.

"(Default) Reach was playtested, and lauded, by MLG players long before it ever shipped, marking it as the first and only Halo title that was exposed to professional players and their feedback prior to launch. I distinctly recall players like Hysteria and Elamite Warrior noting that systems like bloom would be an incredible boon to skilled players. It's sort of en vogue now to trash it as a non-competitive, "casualized" game, even though it was vetted and influenced more significantly by MLG players than any other Halo title, ever. Part of me thinks that's sort of funny and ironic. Another part of me reads these posts and realizes that it's mostly sad. Live and learn."

I found this interesting...

Yes, because only a few select elite group can be the voice of a video game.

Edit: Don't get me wrong, their opinions still matter, but it should not be the only opinion that matters. In other words, people tend to give the opinions of these guys more credit than they deserve.

This was already talked about awhile ago. They were playing on a version that was ready to be shipped so they wouldn't have been able to change anything anyways. They also said that they only played it for a brief period so they didn't really test it on a competitive level. The guy who wrote that article also pretty much said the same thing but in a better way later on in another tweet or post that he made.
