Subject: Credits where are thow?

I pre-ordered Reach and had gotten to the rank of captain untill i got Xbox Live three months ago and when i did i was demoted back to private it made the best day the worst day of my life. I got back to captian just now but was wondering how the hell imsuposed to get them back that was hours apon hours of work that went down the drain i hope a bungie guy reads this and can sympothize with me and give me my creds back casue i dont know a bout you but being demoted for getting xbox live after i started playin a game is NOT a reason to demote some =one back to the beigining!

Once you play Reach on XBox Live for the first time the way you earn cR is scaled differently. You do not earn cR at the same rate as before so you get demoted.

Found what I was looking for: Playing offline is the fastest way for players to earn Credits in either Campaign, Custom, Forge, and Firefight. Once an account has been connected to Xbox LIVE, however, credits earned in any mode are significantly reduced from those awarded for playing offline.

In other words, the hours of work that you spent playing offline to get to captain would equal the same number of hours of work of playing online to get to private. This is intended to keep people from taking shortcuts.

Stop thinking about what the rank difference is. The point is that your rank was affected so that it would be fair to everybody else. You were not cheated out of the time and effort you put in, it's not like you spent 5 hours to end up at a rank that should take 1 hour. The amount of time and effort you put into reaching Captain offline is the same amount of time and effort that it would take to reach private online.

It's like going to a country that uses a different currency than yours. If you're from the US and go to France, they're not going to exchange $100,000 for 100,000 euros as that would just be giving you money since the euro is worth more than the dollar. They would give you less than 100,000 euros, but it would be equal in value to $100,000.

Why is hypocrite spelled with an E at the end?
The I in crite is not pronounce as eye.

So, on the one hand I spell it out exactly as it should be.
You follow the standard set before you by fools who can't even get a handle on the rules of their own language.

Thow

so 0cR offline is equal to roughly 20000 online. Makes ZERO sense

Seriously.

Who cares? cR doesn't mean -blam!- in Reach.

It isn't that hard at all to get to captain offline. It took my friend about a week and a half. You can easily get to the same rank in a week and a half by playing online Matchmaking.

Why so Srs about this though? it's a game

If I could change a few things in Reach, it would be....

*Get rid of yoinking and medal ( yoinking is retarded )
*Force Bungie to work again and get rid of 343's existence
* A few other things

Nvm that comment, it was 9/13/11, not 2010. Excuse my mistake. Point is, you were set back to the rank you deserved, you worked you way back. It doesn't matter anymore.

Video games were built solely for the purpose of fun. If you had fun in those hours then why are you complaining?

People shouldn't go around on games trying so desperately to improve their imaginary 3 digit ratio or to unlock that super special 100G achievement. By being this sort of gamer, you will most likely end up playing on games that bore the hell out of you.
Where's the fun in this?
