There comes a time in every mans life... and that time is not now.

Not really. I feel that sometimes people don't read my posts, but i don't really care. Whether i'm seen or not doesn't matter to me, hence why i lurk on the forums more than i post.

Just because someone didn't reply to your message, or quote it by any chances doesn't make you feel invisible. It just means that they have nothing to argue or didn't want to publicly disagree/agree with you.

I'm 23, I have a house, dog, girlfriend, job and I have no interest in any fanboyism so if you're thinking about sending me a childish PM, don't be surprised when I don't call back.

I don't mind if people notice me or not, I ramble to myself most of the time anyway.

For some reason I thought I saw "Do you ever feet invisible" when I saw the topic. And I was like wait, that's not right. I pretty sure my feet are visible.

Anyways back on topic. Not really, I'm middle class internet famous, Not quite a ghost but not quite famous. So my post usually get responses.

You're not invisible, you're just not posting anything that sticks out to people. Perhaps posting more than just to get your postcount up would change this.

I didn't read the OP because the poster wasn't a mythic member or a mod.

But seriously, you have been here two months. You're no different than any of us when we first joined. Anyway, I've been here for 3 years and I'm still relatively unrecognised (couldn't think of a better word), although that may have something to do with me having 1 month breaks every now and again.

It shouldn't really matter. Whoever decides to read your post, reads it. Whoever decides not to, doesn't. It seems pretty difficult to feel invisible in this massive community. Remember, people don't have to respond (in any way) to your post, in order for them to read it.

Hard is good.

Why can't we band together in these instances and see how funny it is to not reply to these threads?

With a community as large as Bungie.net, it's only natural some will fade into the background, while some a thrusted into the spotlight.

Just because people don't quote you, or know your name, doesn't mean they don't read your posts.

Real account.

Join me as we make new friends from different communities!

If you assign every letter of the alphabet a number, a is 1, b is 2, etc., and you take all of the values of the word "MATH", and add them, you get 42. So math is the meaning of life, the universe, and everything.

I did when nobody passed me the ball while I was at third base playing baseball back in kindergarten/1st grade.

Wait, what happened to the OP?

Sorry. I was drifting in and out last night. Couldn't focus. I haven't had much sleep, and with how I sleep anyway (I'm constantly waking up) I thought it might be a good idea to hit the hay.

And WOW. I thought I would still only have one page by now... But 3?? Thanks everybody, I don't feel as invisible now :D

I get that feeling often in the mains. Not so much in private groups...

Anyway, internet popularity isn't really anything special. You're not really missing out

Technically, I've been here for a little over a year. I got bord with my old account, so I decided to make that my '-blam- Off' account, only using it for when I feel like being an idiot.

I made this account and tried out the Community forum to see if I could find people that aren't as ignorant like most everybody in the Flood. No offense to any frequent goers... I get here, and hey! There're some good threads in here :D

The whole idea of a highschool-esque popularity contest on Bnet has always amused me. Complete with "cliques", people who we are supposed to hate, cool kids, "elite" clubs and circles...

I find the whole thing funny because just the very idea of a thing like that existing on an anonymous internet forum for video games is just ridiculous and just a bit funny/silly

And it's even more funny and maybe even a little disturbing because... it totally exists here. And just about everyone is concerned about their "status" within it, whether they do so consciously or not.

First, get a more obnoxious avatar. I recommend orange, yellow, and green as a color pallet. Second, quote people a lot. The more you quote people the more likely you are to be recognized and responded to. Third, join Private Groups. You'll make friends and meet people who're more likely to talk to you on the mains than randoms.

Ok. I think I'm doing #2 ok... I'm not sure about #1, but I'll try for #3. Any that you recommend?

That's all this site seems to be, and has been for the past few years. This site used to be awesome a few years back (Before Halo 3) now it's just a "Who can make the most hot topics in a day" or "Look how many mods posted in my thread". Not saying it was ever not like that, just not as bad. I pretty much have stopped coming here now because of it. I love Bungie's games but quite frankly the people who play them are just inmature.

If you really want to be invisable... how about you try and not post? Hm?

The distance between insanity and genius is measured only by success.

The problem with the world is that the intelligent people are full of doubts, while the stupid ones are full of confidence.

As you waste your breath complaining about life, Someone out there is breathing their last. Appreciate what you have.

If you stand for nothing, you will fall for anything.

I like being invisible

The world is full of mysteries, and shares too few of the answers required. An example of which, is how did I end up in the Brute Zone?

I'm too popular and cool to be invisible.

Wait, who said that?

OT: People with less popularity/infamy have their opinions believed and accepted more frequently then people without popularity/infamy. I can agree with that.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

Who are you??
Also, I feel really invisible here, but even less at school.
At least here I don't have to travel three times as far to get to a forum. Damn re-zoning.
