There were rumors all over the internet a couple weeks ago that said Halo 3 would be at E3 this year.

They also said that it would be roughly 2 minutes long, which it is. But there is always someone who lets his tongue go right before an announcement or something.

Halo CE = Lan party
Halo 2 = Live
The reason so many people think halo 2 takes no skill is because in halo ce the only competition were friends in the next room. when the same people get on live, they realize they are no where close to being the best and therefore blame their loss on unbalance in the weapons and game.

everybody who played the game knew about it, and everyone who knew about the M$ conference knew halo 3 was going to be announced.

Main Story
Nobody saw it coming. Halo 3! Who knew? For the last year or two, people have speculated about what our next project was and surprisingly, in all that time, not a single person guessed that it would be Halo 3. Not one.

We declare it the best kept secret ever.

Seriously though, it's been a chore biting our tongues on this one. Call it a combination of studio secrecy, corporate secrecy, Bill Gates already announcing it four times and, you know, whatever.

The sarcasm dripping from that statement
is almost visible
and tasteable.
it smells like maple syrup, actually.

But seriously, they were kidding when they said it was
"the best kept secret ever".

Bask in the sarcasm, it was only something that could be kept secret for so long. Just be glad you finally have some info and I'm sure more will roll in as we get closer to 2007.

I'm in the US Air Force stationed in Alaska. I've been chillin on bnet for nearly 5 years now.

IGN.com confirmed that a Halo 3 trailer would be at the Microsoft Press Conference and that the trailer would be 2 min long....gues what? The trailer is exactly 2 min long.
