... restricted to three people.

Hear me out. I'm thinking three players only, ever, free for all.

The reason I'm thinking this is it's the perfect game, man. It's the guy that's always at your back, the X factor that makes a high pitched battle exciting.

I needn't remind anyone of the Holy Trinity and the magick that number represents. Seriously, y'all, three player free for alls are the best games ever. It's the perfect balance, and with that in mind, Bungie should write multiplayer levels specifically for this gametype, and only for this gametype. That's just my feeling, but I know I'm right.

how about this. Instead of restricting the other couple million people who will be playing this game online to your crappy rules, you let them do what they like.

I have to say, that is fun, but wouldn't that be better as a Matchmaking Playlist?
In the meantime, I want 64 player max games and 16 player optimised games. I prefer large player counts.

The 64 player games, those are the ones I find boring.

With that many people the subtle nuances are all lost... you're no longer fighting tooth and nail against two other opponents, outthinking each other, the delicate dance of map control. You're fighting as a grunt in a war, where your life or death is inconsequential.

Three person free for alls are perfect in every way. Huge battles will never have the esoteric beauty of the three man Slayer.
