You know what's funny? Back in the days of the Beta, bungie said they had made grenades easier to see and to hear so you could dodge them easier, when in fact they made them easy to see and hear because of the 50+ ft explosion radius and the fact people spam them at the slightest hint of danger.
Thank you Bungie, I can see those grenades now due to the explosions and hear them because of the self replenishing boxes of nades all players seem to have that I don't.
Thank you.
I think your understanding of spacial relations is off. And trust me, if those bottomless boxes exist, I sure as hell haven't been issued one. If I had been, I would have the highest K/D in the damn game.
There are just some times in the game, when I can not truly believe the one guy behind the hill is throwing all the nades that are currently exploding near by. So I theatre it,and sure enough he is.
And then there are times when I've done all I can to avoid a grenade, and the goddamn explosion still kills me or takes out most of my health.
Granted, sometimes the nade was stuck to my feet, but other times I was just too far away. We're practically talking double or even triple the rocket explosion radius here.
Also, why do frag grenades in Reach stick to some surfaces like glue randomly, then bounce off them when you try to apply this logic to gameplay? Example,
"Oh no an enemy is around the corner, better bounce a grenade over there, *sticks to floor on the first bounce*"
"Alright, this guy is chargin me head on, better stick a frag to the floor so he steps on it, *bounces behind the oncoming enemy*
Uhh, Halo 3 nades back plox?
