Subject: Proof that Bungie had a major derp

A year & half of complaining over a game even though you still play it. Congratulations!

Remember Elk

The ramp bends differently and the railing looks better.

RC Clone is the anti-thesis of a lurker.

But Bazza, what about the active roster system, new forge tools, and integrated file system?

Those are all smart additions to the game that need to be kept.

new forge tools
imprecise integrated file system?never really used it. i doubt it makes much of a difference to many people's halo experience

Asylum is a better example of the terrible forging in default maps.

I laugh at the people who say this game has awful spawning.
Octagon spawning is proof enough. It's either exactly the same spawn every single time or completely random spawns every single time.

So active roster is a good thing and you like it?

The coordinate altering system is imprecise?

The file system is still a good addition.

Ill agree that the coordinate system does need greater accuracy.

I took a look at the screen shot again and if the bridge was right side up there would be a railing blocking the enterance to the far man cannon.

Did you wake up one night in a cold sweat going

"OH MY GOD, THE MIDDLE BRIDGE ON PARADISO! HOW COULD YOU BUNGIE!? HOW COULD YOU!!!!!"

Lmao!

Honestly, OP, who cares? It's a damned upside down bridge, maybe they didn't want the glass siding on it and wanted to put their own edging?

You do realise that the original position of the bridge would cause the railings to block the mancannon pads right? Sure the cannons aren't necessary anyway but there is a clear reason.

Yeah I already mentioned that as well as how the carbine had bloom in another thread where he claimed bloom on precision weapons was only in Reach.

Not true. I'm only talking about the middle segment. What they have done is pointless. They took the bridge piece, turned it upside down to remove the railings, then placed railings. What is the point?

I just want to know at what point betwen 2007 and 2010 did everyone at Bungie develop serious brain abnormality

  • 12.23.2011 4:25 PM PDT

Even if it didn't block the man cannon the glass railing wouldn't cover the edge of the upside down ramp so you would have metal railing then glass railing then metal railing which would not look good.

This guy again? *sighs*

Actually he saw something in a game and thought he would be thanked by a not-so caring community well before puberty. It's a aesthetic in a game which no one has complained about and doesn't affect gameplay what-so-ever.
How about you go into Forge, turn the piece the right way up and then go play custom games with your friends so you can sleep tonight? It's getting late.

Super derp.

Carbine had spread. No bloom. Do not know what you're smoking to make that claim.

Spread that is directly determined by your rate of fire is bloom.

The usage of the carbine was about nil in Halo 3. The only place I ever saw it was on High Ground, and that was because there was only one BR on the map on AR starts. Besides, what kind of bloom did the carbine have anyways? Unnoticeable? Because it sure as hell didn't matter in the range it was supposed to be used at anyways.

I am angry at Bungie now for doing such a thing.

I think it's because they wanted you to be able to walk off onto that side platform with the mancannon that nobody ever uses.
