I for one HATED the Amount of Auto-Aim in Halo 2; It was RIDICULOUS, the game practically aimed FOR YOU, you get within a foot of their head and it looks on; 'YAWN'
Hell, as of now im ready for Less Auto Aim then Halo CE had.
What do you all say?

I honestly don't care. The AA in both is sort of annoying, but wether they include it or not, Halo3 is going to be... the shizzle.

the thing is millions of ppl play Halo 2 casualy...and some professionaly...so my guess is yes...there will be some amount of auto aim...but who knows...bungie might come out with an idea or not..never know..

when u think about it...auto aim is neccesary for online play....it makes it more Fair to the ppl that play the game...for fun!

now if bungie added an option to turn off auto aim like u would turn off power ups in H2 THEN that would be really great for us that play the game hardcore/pro.

I think it should have a little AA. Go on Halo 2 and try to kill your teamate with a BR or SMG, it's pretty hard if they are jumping around.

.....hmmm....and in some customs games you would have AA and in some you don't. But I think bungie may make it so that each player can turn AA on or off as much as he/she wants too ( unless this is what you originally meant >.>;; ).

Either as much as Halo 1 (which barely any existed) or none at all. Unfortunatly i believe there needs to be Halo 1 level, just a tiny bit, but not one where it can govern your aim like it does in Halo 2.

Yes there should be some aa but not enough to take the skill of being able to shoot someone in the head on purpose.

If your ret is red on halo2 and you shoot your shot WILL hit the target.
When it is NOT red your bullets come from your gun and shoot AFTER the delay (100ms or so) causing it HARD to noscope and BR across the map.

AUTO AIM is GOOD for internet play.
If autoaim was off then the game would be trash over xbox live.

Now stickness, (how the gun follows the target when you strafe or move) that should be lowered i think...

Youre talking about magnetism, not AA. AA is hitboxes basically, when the cursor is read the bullets will curve to hit while magnetism slows down the crosshair when it is over an enemy.

And it needs some AA, play PDZ, it has minimal AA and results in random spray fiestas. You might think it adds skill but it makes it so people any short of Pro have to spray randomly.
