Gar. don't read to much into it. simplicity is what keeps halo a great thing. there are no super insanely crazy plot twists (except for the flood, and the covenant civil war) but most everything is beleivable. i mean steven speilberg said that once you have the audience, you have them, and that is what you have to stick by. you can invent a universe about talking muffins, and as long as you have guidelines and dont break them, the people are okay with it. if you constantly break your rules, then its over. and your story sucks. i personally think that the humans are forerunners, why is it that the monitor only calls humans reclaimers, and he only needs their assistance. and the humans are the only race that the covenant didnt ask for peace with. before they destroy any race, they always ask if they want to join the covenant. with the humans it was different. they immediatly tried to kill them. and the structure in the trailer. it looks forerunnerish. so yeah. and it looks like a massive halo! plus the covenant didnt glass earth. they need it. all of it. there might be more forerunner artifacts on earth. the chief is definetly not the "KEY" their is probably another index and stuff. just like every other halo. 'cause i bet that "the ark" is the mother of all halos.
i win...
