Subject: You know what I like about the community?

If this is the state of my art, then I secede.

The sheer irony.

People complain about repeat topics, which in and of itself is a repeat topic. People complain about threads being boring, yet they don't post something interesting. People make threads meant to be "fun", yet go into other "fun" threads and forum cop the -blam!- out of it.

You guys are just so cute!

Please, tell me what you like about bnet. I'm dying to hear it.

I hate you unless I'm drunk.

I love the fact sarcasm oozes out of every orifice, much like your average male after a trip to Vegas.

Even more ironic is that you're complaining about complaining about complaining, yet even that's been done on this site before.

I -blam!- love the diversity. It's awesome.

I'm not complaining, but I'm 100% positive that complaints about complaints about complaints have been done, which is hilarious.

I was just thinking the same exact thing.

  • 12.24.2011 12:27 PM PDT

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

I like how people complain about trolls then ruthlessly flame other users for no reason other than they don't have the maturity to handle their opinions.

I wish some people here would grow up a little.

I appreciate everyone for who they are, so I've learned to look past their mistakes, and except their faults. However, I do understand what you are saying.

You're supposed to be sarcastically happy about something, like the OP. It's like a code. A code of sarcasm.

First off, Ill start by saying that Bungie.net is the first of its kind. A mecca of gamers with one common love in common and that love is Halo and most things that the title alone involves. Bungie.net is the first place that I know of that you could actually speak (Type rather) with others around the world who play; as well as the Brilliant men and women who brought the game to life. As a community there has been a lot of struggles, jabs, fights, love affairs...etc. Its Halo in essence.
The online community for the most part aren't trolls. We are individuals with a passion for gaming. Bungie.net allows us to express ourselves as well as input new ideas for the game and the online game modes. Hell, Reach was basically made by the gamers through the creators. We asked for "More" They gave us more. We asked for "New Weapons" And what did they give? New Weapons of course. I could go on into a different tangent but Im going to stay with the current topic of What I like about the Bungie Community.
The biggest thing that I do like Bungie.net about is the fact that we are one big family weather we realize it or not. Everyone from the noobs to the men and women who hold almost demigod status for making the game. We may have our disagreements now and then but what family doesn't?
In closing, We should all try and troll a bit less, complain a bit less and try harder to make the online gaming experience the best for everyone we can.

"That's about all that can be said for plots, which anyway are just one thing after another, a what and a what and a what.

Now try how and why."

I love that bungie actually interacts with it's community members on a regular basis and doesn't try to always* act super high and mighty. It's just a cool place to chill, k?

Ready are you? What know you of ready? For eight hundred years have I trained Jedi. My own council will I keep on who is to be trained. A Jedi must have the deepest commitment, the most serious mind. This one a long time have I watched. All his life has he looked away... to the future, to the horizon. Never his mind on where he was. Hmm? What he was doing. Hmph. Adventure. Heh. Excitement. Heh. A Jedi craves not these things. You are reckless.” -Yoda
