I don't know whether you're trolling or not--from the way your post sounds overly desperate and almost hero-worshipping Bungie, I'm inclined to say Troll--but in the off chance you're being serious, I'd like to point out that Frank could very easily have been talking cinematically in terms of Campaign, the way the matchmaking system works, or any number of things that mean other then CoD's gameplay.
Perhaps if you actually have been paying attention you'll have noticed 343i constantly talking about wanting to retain the core of Halo's famous gameplay while also expanding and growing the franchise. This does not mean turning Halo into CoD. This does not mean killstreak perks, iron sights or virtual insta-kills. What they've been saying for months, that they wish to retain Halo's core gameplay, is infinitely more valid then a baseless assumption made on an equally infinitely vague passing mention of another game.
You're preconceived notions of 343i that they will ruin Halo is blatant fanboyism, in regards to Bungie worship. Your jumping to conclusions extremely fast--even for this forum's standards--is proof of that. So if you are not trolling, you need to calm down and wait until we actually have something on the game for real before jumping a thousand sharks to land at a conclusion so far and above removed from the realm of possibility the mere thought it were to happen is ludicrous.
tl;dr: patience. We know nothing at this point.
I'm also going to point out that Bungie no longer, in any way shape or form, has anything to do with Halo anymore. They felt confident enough in 343i to give them the keys to the Story Bible and universe. I think both Bungie and 343i qualify more for such a decision then any of us. Exactly, for all we know he might just be talking about the ability to join a game in session.
