So he may be at the short end of the polls but what do you like about Master Chief's Covenant counter part (and what you don't like) Any more expectation on the Covenants side of the Campaign for it's struggle for survival against the FL00D and against itself.

I don't like him all that much. Arbiter = NOOB. The only thing i like about him is his storyline so far. The fact that he is finding out the truth about the "Great Journey", is the only reason i haven't thrown him off the side of campaign levels a thousand times.

I didn't like playing as two differrent characters. Just as soon as I got to know them more, they got taken away and replaced by someone else. The Master Chief as the only character would be great in my opinion.

It would be cool to be the Chief and have the Arbiter fight side by side with you and Sgt. Johnson

I'd rather play as the Chief, and only the Chief. Don't want no hooves.

This apple is brown, and rotten. This orange on the other hand, is in relatively average shape. So the orange is definitely the preferable option.
----------You can't compare apples and oranges. You're so dumb.

Dude we wouldn't know half the damn story if we didn't play as the arbiter. We never would of realized all the covenant is a pawn to Truth even the other prophets. We never would of realized Truth and maybe the toher two most high of the high archs knew what halo was. We never would of heard about the Ark and we never would fo learned the elites were kicked from the covenant and nothign in the plot would make sense. Any ways After guilty anwsers the arbiter there all going to help half jaw help take over regrets ship. Then there going to head for earth but there going to run into some heritic elites and there going to form the rebelion group against the covenant. From there there going to head to earth as the one living thing left holding the covenant together is there preparing to eliminate all life.

Cortana will anwser graveminds question and they will merge and cortana will finally fully remember her past. The covenant will fire the giant scarab gun on earth towards the moon uncovering a ship known as the ark. We will learn Gravemind is not who we thought he was and we will learn the flood was created to stop all life from dieing out. That the flood was created to kill of a race of giants. As it says in the book of enoch. We will learn that the forerunners kept them a live to one day again save humanity and intellgent life. We will learn the libraries on halo hold the DNA maps for every sentient creature to ever exsist and we will learn of a being that survived halo long ago. A being that had little biomass a being that was human yet a cyborg. That being was noah. After halo had activated Noah recreated all the sentient races and followed a map created by the forerunners to place them all in there proper worlds. (speculation)

I liked the Arbiter. I'd like to see more of him in Halo 3, although less of him.

Course, I'm the only guy in the world that wants to play as Sgt. Johnson as well.

The Arbiter was amazing!! Also he has to be in Halo 3. If you saw the ending to Halo 2 The Arbiter, Johnson, and Miranda are planning to go to the Arc. So to keep the story in sync he just has to be in Halo 3. That is my thinking.

The Arbiter gave us half of the story because he was in half of the game. If it was the Master Chief throughout the whole game, Bungie would have integrated him into those levels so it seems reasonable. I wouldn't mind the Arbiter at all as long as he was in cutscenes and not playable in single player.

Arbiter will die in Halo 3, as his death was foreshadowed by Mercy. "You will die, just as each Arbiter has before you." So the Arbiter will most likely sacrfice himself to either destroy Gravemind or stop the Halos(or both in the process.).

after playing as the arbiter, my blind hate for elites disappeared, and raised many questions about the future of halo, i guess there wont be a massive MC v all elites battle after all.

The Arbiter should have his own campaign line, so the whinners can play Cheif's campaign line. Make with the same amount of levels to, so everyone is happy and then people can't -blam!- about the Arbiter.

"You must face the truth squarely and without flinching from duty. Our enemies are mortal no longer. Mercy for such as they is a chimera, self-deception is its only ally. Dedicate this weapon, given unto your hand at the behest of the Emperor, to their destruction. Regard its function as your only duty: you live only to bring cleansing fire."

they have to have the arbiter, not because i am an elites fan but like you said, its the chiefs counterpart. they have fought a twenty something year long war against each other, now they are forced to ally. its just more drama added into the mix.

A witty signature.

The Arbiter was terrible. Absolutely terrible. It took away from the story so much for me. Sure, it gave new, valuable inside into the covenant... at the expense of the player being the Master Chief. Now, you're just the player. Every played Half Life 2? Ever wondered why it's so fantastic? Because you ARE Gordon Freeman.

I liked to pretend he was Goliath from Gargoyles. The downside to that mindset was that I'd leap off cliffs and attempt to glide or howl out for my fellow Gargoyles.

Honestly, I didn't mind him. It just took some getting used to not blasting Covenant. I know I'm not the only person that got caught up, turned to his left and saw an Elite, and smashed his head in only to realize, "Wait, wait, he's a teammate now."
