All that is needed for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.

I was on roosterteeth.com earlier and noticed a cool little feature in their website. There is a small box in the upper right corner of a user's avatar/profile picture that tells you that that user is online or offline. I don't know why, but I really wish that I could tell which users were offline.

Link to the roosterteeth page I mentioned for reference:

Best of random chance

I think this would be a part of the many times suggested "Friends" feature, and we don't know what will be in the new hawtness, but I'm expecting a lot :P

Really? I have seen him say things that are nothing less than opposite. I can't link you there, but I vividly remember him defending social features and explaining how it is "unnecessary" in the same way that face to face socialization is "unnecessary".

Achronos has said that Bungie.net wasn't meant to be a social website so that feature is unlikely to come here.

EDIT: I also recall him saying that Bungie.net is very much a social site, as it was created for gamers to socialize and discuss. Thus is a social site.

the only problem i have with mine is that it's unstable,[very shakey],so you'd need a tripod for it.

Just drink a beer and everything will be ok

I suppose it could work. I don't know if the load of checking if everyone was on or offline would strain B.Net.

No he didn't.

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time.

I know who you are.

You are Destiny.

I believe Achronos mentioned that it was the little icon next to our username that would be the beacon for it; and that all stosh needed to do was make the new image when a user is online.

Something like that; or something. Perhaps it'll be in the next iteration of Bungie.net.

Hopefully this. As well as a bunch of other features.

I want Bungie.net to tell me the weather and make me coffee. Boy oh boy, that would be great.

But I'd like more instant mod response. I know they have lives and all but sometimes they're just a little slow. So how about robot moderators.

That would be nice. Maybe the Web Team should just hire 2-3 Ninjas that soul job it is to answer PMs, not actually moderate the forums.

I don't think that'd work, unless they're already experienced in moderating the forums. Even then most members try to contact a moderator that banned them or was more involved in the situation.

"Find The Bomb?!
Find The Bomb?!
I'm Looking For The Flag!
What The Heck Is Assualt!?"

I believe a script was released for this purpose.

You're spot on. It's a shame it didn't get implemented :(
