I don't think weapons like Assault Rifles with grenade Launchers should make it in. I makes it either just like every other FPS shooter, or too unfuturistic. The sniper should be toned down to three body shots for a kill, or one head shot, and the shotgun should be more consistent.

it looked different from the old school halo 1 version.

I also want the BR to be single shot, like in the halo 2 e3 teaser

I noticed the gun he was holding but it did not look like the auto-matic from HCE it look ed like a combination of the Br from H2 and the auto-matice from HCE.

Do you suppose Bungie will wisen up and take off the auto-aim? Do you think the plasma pistol will be fixed up? Do you think the sword's extremely terrible pwning tendency will be fixed? I hope all of the "problems" will be taken care of.

Bring back the orignal pistol (for consistency) BUT nerf it so it is more balanced e.g. between strength of the the AR and BR

Though the trailer looked pretty badass.. I don't want to get my hopes up just yet. I was pulled in by the hype of Halo 2, and it wasn't near what i expected it to be..

I would love to see the AR back, just so SMG's won't be used as often, if at all.

I'd also love for the M6D pistol to come back, i just don't understand how MC could have just lost the pistol.

It wouldn't even have to be a 3 shot kill. I'd settle for a 4 shot kill, as long as the rate of fire stays the same. Maybe if it's like 1 body shot and 3 head shots to kill would be fine with me.

I would want to plasma weapons to have a use besides just taking down shields, like in the Halo 1.. Remember the freezing ability it had? That way they could tone down the Plasma Pistol's homing, and the PP would still be useful for close range combat. Same with the Plasma Rifle.

The Shotgun I'd hope to be more like the Halo 1 shotty.

The sniper can stay the same, but I'd prefer it to be like the Halo 1 Sniper Rifle, it was harder to use in my opinion.

I believe they should revert back to the original Halo 1 Weapon Spawn System. The game can still have the in-game timer, and maybe even a small message that appears telling you "Rocket up" "sniper up"..

This way, nobody can complain about people using "timers" to win games, because everybody would have one.

Not to mention it would make the games more even, and more intense, seeing as everybody would be battling for the weapons, as opposed to one team spawning by the weapons, and them being the only team to know the respawn time of the power weapons.

I'd also like to see grenades back to their original strength. Remember when throwing a grenade at a warthog actually did something? I also think you should be able to throw grenades the same distance as Halo 1.. Remember those game saving grenades on Blood Gulch? You can't do that anymore.. for 2 reasons.

1. You can't throw in far enough to even hit the warthog that's driving away.
2. If you did hit the warthog, nothing would happen.

I'd also like to see the lock-on taken OUT for the ground vehicles. The flying vehicles it would be fine. This is just to bring more SKILL into the game.

dude, they can't take off auto-aim completely, it's part of playing over the internet, if there was no auto aim, you wouldnt kill people or it would take a long time, you know how long it takes ot BR one of your team mates to death, thats how long it wud take with no autuo aim, would be too easy to dodge.

i agree about the plasma pistol, stupid mistake in an otherwise excellent game.

as for the sword, theres no problems with it how it is, its not exactly that hard to take down a sword guy with a bit of communication and TEAMWORK if need be.

If the AR's coming back, hopefully it will solve the whole SMG/BR Start issues. It'd be the perfect middle ground. I wouldn't mind seeing the SMG upgraded a bit so it's a bit more useful as single wielded weapon. They'd have to keep the range low, but it'd be nice if they added a silencer or something to increase it's viability on the battlefield, otherwise no one will ever pick them up again.

I'd like to see a new version of the Plasma Rifles. While the melee attack in H2 with them were fast and painful, the PRs in H2 were tough to survive with unless you were dual wielding. A single wielded PR with increased range and power maybe?

The Plasma Pistol. Ah yes. They could tone down the abuse of the PP very simply by making the overcharge timed and limited. Unreal Champ 2 used a similiar system, you had pistols you could charge, but they would only hold the charge for 7-10 seconds before firing by themselves. That might be a good option for H3's PP.
