Yes having health back would be a good idea.

Also it would be good to have health for vehicles that is independant of your health.

Health!? What for!? If your shields are down your most likely going to die, so why health? Besides you die ALOT quicker and it seems unrealistic.

i dont like the idea of health. You see, i love multiplayer and live, and if everytime i killed someone and they took some of my health away, i would have to find a pack. But with just sheilds, once i kill him, all damage he did to me would come back.

i think having health makes it more realistic and armour should be included too because i found it stupid too lose my shield and then die as it felt like master chief was running around in a useless t-shirt and shorts with shielding system. too see armour and know he's alive but there's nothing too display the status of it is stupid as theres no point in showing him in armour if it isn't used!!!

it is a pain in the ass to go heads up with somone, drain there health all the way down and they end up killing you. give them 5 seconds and its like nothing ever happened. having health is a lot more interesting.

you guys already have health 10 seconds and your health regenerates by it self. the bars are just invisible. dont believe, me toss 4 nades at you feet one after another after your sheilds recharge. then you see you will die on the 4th one. then repeat but this time wait 6 seconds after you sheilds recharge the you will see you dont die.

no -BLAM!-ing way! In halo 2 we had enough health to beat Tarterus 1000 times in a row!

I believe health could open a better window to Brutes and Flood being playable characters in multiplayer, except that it should not have items to recover it. Health should regenerate slowly, overtime.

What kind of usless T shirt can take 3 shots from a rifle and keep the person alive (not head shots mind you). The Health must stay gone and it fits with the fluff. The suit makes MC way more resilient than normal people but not rediculously so (thats what the shield is for).

People complain about campers already on live...with health packs there are just going to be even more complaining about camping health packs

  • 05.10.2006 12:39 PM PDT

Having health makes you think more tactifully. Not having health eliminated the idea of weakening opponents. With Halo 1, it was like "Hey, I just got a sniper shot on that guy, his health should be down a little bit, someone finish him up" In Halo 2, that kind of teamwork is eliminated.

Yeah Health bars should be back along with med-kits because if your shield goes down and you get hit, you are actually taking damage unlike in Halo 2 where you can just keep getting hit with a sniper over and over again which makes it seem that as long as your shield is up you stay up.

that's where random health pack spawning comes into play.

that way yes, you can camp over a health pack, but where the hell is it going to be next?

Health means more strategy, and asking to have more strategy on these forums is liek pulling teeth. The way you need to look at the poll is what the least people voted for is actually what should happen to make the game good.

More then anything else from Halo : Combat Evolved I want health back!! It adds a huge amount of strategy to a game. More then hiding to let your shield recharge and going back to fight, it makes the hiders alittle less safe.

I voted no. in Halo 2, having health would have been detrimental to the XBL game play. I like having the rechargeable armor, and lets face it. The rechargeable armor is the upgrade from the Mark V to the Mark VI armor. Well that upgrade was actually humans modifying covie technology to suit our needs. In Halo: CE the Elites would recharge and Chief didn't. In Halo 2, both Elites and Chief recharge because they are using the same technology. Also, with live I don't think we could have health with the way we play now.

Furthermore, ppl who want health back are probably also the ppl who whine about the Magnum in Halo 2 compared to the Pistol in Halo: CE. Let us also talk about how it is unfair for someone who has just respawn in their base to fight off a group of people coming into their base that have half energy. It doesn't make each individual encounter fair or balanced. No health with shields does this!!!

Spartan II 077
Codenamed: Lasombra
Rank: Masterchief

That health bar in Halo 1 was really your armor's health. Regardless of their augmentations, a bullet will kill a human, so once the sheild and armor is gone...BAM your dead. The Sheild covers the armor, the armor covers that soft-tissue of all humans, Spartans included. Bring back the Health, give the vechiles and independant health gauge and all will be well.

I enjoy not having to look for health packs and having auto regenerating health but come on, he's a human/elite. It'll be fun and adds a touch of realism that makes a game series like Halo, despite being high tech and all, seem more realistic.
