Sandbox.
Game mechanics.
Maps.
Honestly, the netcode is the greatest (only great thing, actually) thing about it.
Now if could just slap that onto CE PC somehow....
Active roster and forge controls are also great.
Active roster isn't a new innovation (and they didn't really improve it, cause the old one showed everyone) and Forge controls don't help the fact that half of the things you can do in it are irrelevant due to the Xbox being unable to handle it.
So I can't say active roster is nice because it isn't a new thing? The netcode sucks. Every game has to handle connecting players together smoothly.
Also I said the forge controls are good. The controls. Not the limitations set by the budget system and appearance limitations set for the graphics engine.
*Firefight netcode sucks. Quite honestly, I've lagged a lesser amount of times in Reach than I did in Halo 3, and I had a better connection rating back in the Halo 3 days.
Sure, active roster is nice, and I'm glad they implemented it. However, it's nothing new and it doesn't warrant my attention of Reach over CE. I'll give you the point on the forge controls, considering the "messing around" potential that's within them along with the precision controls for advanced map making (and I wouldn't take Halo 3 forge over it).
