What's there to debunk?
There's nothing in that article that says anything definite. This is Kotaku of course. You expecting someone to just spill their guts over something?
I almost spat my drink out in laughter. You think Kotaku is a reliable and respectable game-news-site. How cute.Maybe if you scrolled a little farther you would've noticed this.

Never trust Kotaku.
This. I mean, remember that crap Kotaku was spouting that they had an inside scoop from a former Bungie contractor, about how Bungie treats their contractors like dirt? Blatantly false, yet they stuck by the story as if it weren't. They're the video game version of Gawker, that's all. That's why I dubbed it "scuttlebutt". I don't trust them to cook bacon for me let alone tell me game news but I like to be thorough.
The fact you even read Kotatu or even decided to make a thread based off an article by them, proves you do infact think what they write is good.
Wait a second, what the hell does that post even have to do with what you're suggesting?
Bungie returning to roots? If you can read, they say anything is possible, but they want to do something new. This article is almost 2 years old. Bungie have also clearly said since then, multiple times, "This is a new IP".
Why does this thread exist?
