Considering H3 will be the mother of all Halo's...why not bring these back....hell, bring back ALL levels ever created plus news ones that are inevitable.

Hang 'em High back, leave Sidewinder. I don't really care, though, I'm certain Bungie will do an excellent job on whatever they decide to make.

Flame Sama's Portal. Home of the anti-emo teenage writer/gamer Flame Sama, stop by and read some time.

By the way, my gamertag is really 'Flame Sama'.

This account is inactive-it's a relic of a former time for Bungie.net, back when groups were riding high prior to the release Halo 3.

With the raw power of X360, they should be able to have ALL of Halo 1, Halo 1 (PC), and Halo 2, and maybe a few new H3 maps ...

Or just have a map editor ...

I'll be happy with whatever they decide................I'm more concerned with the story rather than multiplayer....................

But I would rather see new maps instead of old ones.......................

I started this thread just for the fun of talking about those two levels. They were so much fun. The question of whether or not they'll be back is kind of a timeless question until we actually see them again. You guys are right...the engine on the 360 could easily hold Halo CE, Halo 2, Halo PC, and new Halo 3 levels all at once....PLUS UPDATES...that would truly make a gigantic amount of maps, but could you deny the fun of having all of them? don't think so.

bungie has *obviously* taken all the requests of gamers that want halo 1 maps back in halo 2/3, but im pretty sure they want to, but just can't because the physics for the games are just too different. The biggest difference being how high you can jump and falling damage. The maps were great in Halo 1/ CE, but they just wouldn't be as much fun in the newer games. It's best sometimes to leave things the way you remember them. With exception, of course, to the AR cuz it was the greatest.
