What if the trailer is meant to be from Cortana's point of view?

It could be that she is reflecting on what she has done, where she has sent the Chief to. She is confessing in a sense how she has disobeyed (defied) the gods and demons. When she says "I know your past, your future" she sounds sad, regretful. She seems to think she has sent the Chief to his death, and isn't there by his side.

The first planet he landed on didnt have 50 covenant ships, a destroyed arc bridge, an unearthed structure, or a grunt street sign.

thats not a bridge, its the remanants of the cowlings that held the giant space elevator together

We don't know what it is for sure, it could be anything. But to me it looks like the remnants on Mombasa. When chief is walking forward, he seems to be walking through part of the tunnel. The structure in the background has wires and support beams, like the bridge did. It could be anything.

Actually..thinking about this made me realize something. In Halo 2, Mombassa was destroyed. We assumed it was from the rupture in space that was torn when high tailing it out of there. But what if this is a glimpse of Halo 2, how Mombassa was really destroyed? Maybe the Covenant and the Marines that escaped through the hole made it out just in time to escape the huge blast of whatever it was that opened.

eeeeeagle

I think its kinda crud how mombasa got destroyed by the slipspace rupture because then to destoy any area a covenant ship would just have to jump in and then back out
