lolnope.

If Halo 4 were give us a completely new Campaign experience, but still force players to utilize the Halo: Reach Multiplayer, would you still buy Halo 4 regardless of no new Multiplayer experience? Would you even keep the game if you bought it and found out at the last minute that there was no new Multiplayer?

Life is a journey, if you spend all of it with your nose in your map, you may miss some of the best parts.

I'd youtube the campaign.

  • 12.26.2011 5:55 PM PDT

I wouldn't touch Halo ever again.

I would however buy Halo 4 if I found out there was no campaign, but really good multiplayer.

Thats a tough one actually...
I'd have to say yes because of the campaign experience.

  • 12.26.2011 5:55 PM PDT

That would be the stupidest thing ever.

But would you keep it even after beating the Campaign a few times? I'd personally sell it in a heart beat or just try to get my money back if they forced us to play the Reach multiplayer again.

  • 12.26.2011 5:56 PM PDT

Yes, I'd buy it, and keep it.

I don't see why people think Halo is based on multiplayer experience only.

For goodness sake, the title is derived from the campaign.

So basically... Waypoint is pro-vanilla?

Posted by: Sentox6
Waypoint isn't pro-anything so much as they're just anti-intelligence.

No. I would never touch another Halo game.

If Halo 4 is anything like Reach, Myself, and many others will drop Halo completely.

I wouldn't get the game either. I'm all for a new Halo Campaign surely, but the Multiplayer imo nowadays is just as important as the story. Without a new multiplayer, I'd quit Halo.

Reach is a bad enough game as it is, I don't need another few years of it until Halo 5.

The highest population Halo 4 will get will be the first day of release.

Theres already TONS of people who have dropped Halo just because of Reach. 343 needs to get the sinking ship sailing back to its glory days again.

My personal opinion is that no matter what 343 do halo 4 will never be the new online masterpiece even if it desrves to be.

This is because all the online shooters now days consist of "life-like"graphics not cartoonie graphics(even if halo has lifelike graphics they are wearing armour which looks cartoonie).

Also in games like COD and BATTLEFIELD people always just run off and go for their own killstreaks but in halo anyone who goes off and does that always loses to a team which works together.

Oh and i believe it was ODST that was halo's demise not reach.

Halo 4 or this thread's Halo 4? If Halo 4 is done right it could potentially save Halo.

When Halo 4 comes out, then you can talk.

It might save Halo but Reach left a REALLY nasty scar on the series. We'll just have to wait and see.

Same old crappy matchmaking for the social part then noooooooo. Social part should use Player/Public matches (aka quit and join mid games) and not this old matchmaking crap resulting in a 10 ban from social playlist.

I'd buy it, but not right after release. I'd probably wait for the price to drop substantially if it cost any more than $30. If I bought it, then found out it had no multiplayer, and the price was over $30, I'd return it, then wait for the price to drop.

I would get it. Reach has a beautiful multi-player. I'm enjoying myself more than when I played Halo 3. Halo 4's multi-player isn't going to be like Reach so I have high expectations for it. I'm eager to see what 343i can do.
