Ok, I was wondering what the circular shape in the top left of the trailer was? It's easy to see at about 21 seconds into it and is even on the picture above. It reminds me of the wheel from Zanzibar just well, destoyed. Also whats the debris from? Theres no crash or anything nearby from the look of it. I guess if that thing is a structure it somewhat looks like it could have come from that...

It's the remains from New Mombasa when the covenant caused that "wormhole" thing in Halo 2.

Erm guys, if you look at the trees, those are specific to Africa if I am correct which I believe I am. That is no bridge. I am guessing from the obvious great battle there, that those are the framing ribs of ships crashed and burned.

lol
nice... but if you happen to look in the background when you see the crater, the city is quite erm.. visable at the horizon. I'd think a few objects may have... eerrr, been thrown about by how destructive the wormhole thing was... but, that's just me thinking.

could be something else...

Im pretty sure it is a bridge. If you notice there are wires that connect to each one and what has wires connecting pieces together? "uhh... a tuna sandwich?" no a -blam!- bridge.

yeah thats most probably a part of a ship, probably human by the looks of it. It could be covenant though, but its hard to tell from the video.

I dont know if its the bridge but I do know that has to be near a city of some sort. Why else would there be a paved road in the middle of the african desert? But also how could the bridge be a circular thing?

You know what I REALLY think? I REALLY think it's just a piece of random metal, shaped like a familiar object to symbolize that things have changed dramatically since last time we saw what's going on. Ring-shaped objects don't matter anymore. The Covenant have unearthed the Ark. The mother of all self-destruct sequences.

Bridge + Big Explosion Thingy = Almost perfect ring?

It may be peices of debris from the giant tower in the center of the city.

It's the top of the bridge... its not a circle its more of a upside down U shape.

This apple is brown, and rotten. This orange on the other hand, is in relatively average shape. So the orange is definitely the preferable option.
----------You can't compare apples and oranges. You're so dumb.

Good lord...That is new mombasa! The thing above mc as he walks is the zanzibar wheel and the thing in the back ground is the top of the bridge.. The oceans are all dried up and the holy city has fallen.

Don't believe me? Go play halo 2 and go on the third level. Now look at the bridge and there you have it. If that was a ship then that wouldn't be new mombasa then it wouldn't fit with the revelation quote and it wouldn't fit with the peom that connects to cortana saying: " I am your shield , I am your sword"

Do you know what Public works peeps do? they do Water, Sewage, lights,UTILITies. Not bridges. The would be DOT (Department of Transpertation. )

I think it might be smaller rings, because of the ropes or cables holding it up.Like they are raising it. Like a stargate sorta thing.

Everything will be gone long before me. When the first living thing was born, I was here, waiting. When the last living thing dies, my job is finished. I'll put the chairs on the tables, turn out the lights and lock the universe behind me when I leave.

I wonder what the other two ring-shaped structures in the backround?

I think it's the remains of the bridge linking Old Mombasa and New Mombasa

I have never seen so many noobs on these Bungie forums since Halo 2 came out, that is the bridge from new mombasa. If you go to the Multiplayer map Turf in Halo 2 the bridge is in the sky map.
