I remember when I used this space to put cool looking links to my chapters back in the day. I don't even know why I'm using it now. Why are you even reading this? You must be interested in me. Still reading?

I think the whole title system should be removed.

2/15/12: Francisco Porras, I'll miss you. Rest in Peace.

I like the idea, but why not just create another title after mythic? Like interstellar member? That sounds cool.

I suppose you could, but you need my system since it's perpetual.

I read the title as member titties.

That would certainly mix things up a bit.

Tru7h. C4RN4GE. Bungie.

I'm creeping on Mythic enough as it is. There needs to be an endpoint! I vote nay.

But once you reach mythic, eventually everyone else you know will as well. We need more titles and combinations to keep things interesting.

Yes. Possibly add larger spacing between each suffix and do the corresponding color under each then gradient to each other. Something like this. I left out the prefix and Member title because it's obviously a rough copy

The Risk Is Worth The Reward.
Cry Havoc And Let Slip The Dogs Of War.

Yea perhaps not now...but give it time. Once they go cross platform into PS3 the number of members will go up.

I really don't think that's true at the moment

Tru7h. C4RN4GE. Bungie.

Eventually will be a long time from now. And that's ok with me.

This is actually the stupidest thing ever posted on B.net:

Why does everyone hate Halo 2? Maybe its because its the worst game ever next to mario.

What if instead of member titles next to our name there was the date we joined Bungie.net?

Example: italian templar | Member Since: 2007

Hm that's actually not a bad idea at all.

We shouldn't even have titles like Honorable or Intrepid.

Foman: I see absolutely no reason, either theoretical or practical, that this is not a superb idea. Excellent work, my friend.

So I feel like we need more diversity in member titles since there's more members and current members are getting older. After around 4 years a normal member eventually becomes a Mythic Member. But here's the thing, since the community is getting older and increasingly larger that means that there's going to be a lot more Mythic Members than there used to be. Sure there's a cap to limit the amount of Mythic Members, but that only means there's going to be a bunch of people constantly switching titles.

Here's my idea: If you look at our current numerals system it's in multiples of 10; 10, 100, 1,000, 10,000 etc. The member titles could be similar. After Mythic Member you could have a Heroic Mythic member, a Legendary Mythic Member, and a Mythic Mythic Member. This way this ensures that there's never going to be a shortage of titles for the Bungie Community. In theory if you stick around enough we could even have Legendary Mythic Mythic Mythic Members, wouldn't that be cool?

How should I put this... it's like saying "We can do this the easy way, the hard way, the semi-easy way, the semi-medium way, the semimedium easy hard way, etc." I don't realy think it's that good of an idea. I think we should keep the current system.

Members that have been around for 7 years should get a
"grizzled ancient" title.
I think it should be 5 years, not 7. If you think about it, a lot of the active 5+ members are moderators. Any ones that aren't could be considered a "Grizzled Member" (new title bar color too).

And to vanert, I'd rather have no titles compared to what you're suggesting. The name itself "Mythic Mythic Member" doesn't sound good to start off with.

This is an ingenious idea, Vanert. I applaud your problem-solving skills associated with titles. I know Bungie's going to appreciate this dearly down the line. I honestly can't wait to be a Legendary Mythic Mythic Mythic Member. This handsomely-crafted creation is the future; one that we can believe in.

Your sarcasm has a place in my heart.
