I think that they should leave it, because its an option, it didn't take away from the gameplay at all.

It is a opinion to say this, and it would be a opinion for me to respond. Lets leave it at that.

I think the only way some of you guys will be happy is if there is only BR's and no other weapons. Everyone just headshotting each other and yelling into your custom Halo3 headsets about how Elite you are.

Duel Weilding stays.

Way to steriotype.

No one has said one thing about being Elite. Just because normal people dont like dual weilding you have to find some way to justify it.

That's why I said "some". Besides, everybody's saying they hate it because it makes the game too easy, but I think it makes it fair. If you die, respawn, and I happen to see you while duel weilding, shouldn't I win that battle? Sure it's frustrating when it happens, but there are situations you shouldn't be able to get out of. That's why I hated the original pistol. It watered down every other weapon in the game. If you had a pistol you could take anyone out. That's stupid.

The pistol in H1 was a balancing weapon and should come back but toned down. Maybe 6 shots to kill. But I mean come on! 13 shots from the current pistol to kill somone. That means you have to hit all twelve in the first round, reload and hit them in the head with the next one. Who picks up the magnum anymore?

You could take anyone out, but they could also take you out. Providing they had a shot gun in close range, could stick, had a plasma rifle in medium range, or rocket launcher or sniper in their appropriate feilds. The pistol could be used everywhere but everywhere it coulde still be trumped.

IF bungie cares about their REAL fan base they wont let duel wielding come back... Stop catering and spoon feeding the babies that ruined halo2.

Please explain to me this "REAL fan base" that you describe. I'm curious as to what logic lies behind that... interesting statement.

Yes. I hated dual wielding at first, but it worked well with all of the common maps online and as long as that's maintained for Halo 3 it shouldn't be cut.

I can't vote in any polls for some reason, so if someone is allowed to double vote, please vote no for myself.

I feel that dual weilding lead to a rock paper scissors sort of gameplay where the unique characteristics of each weapon were watered down in order to fit them into the dual weilding scheme.

I feel that more weapons, properly balanced would be more enjoyable, rather than having duals laying around, half of which are useless unless dual weilded.

That would be lame. What is he gonna hold the other weapon with, his mouth and squeeze the trigger with his tongue?

I can't believe 76 percent of you want the ability to duel wield... I guess the MLG community didn't vote because they are too busy looking for skrims over at mlgpro.com.

Are you dumb?

The M6C Pistol = Way too overused, overpowered, & unrealistic. There is absolutely no way that a soldier would resort to a pistol unless their Rifle, which is their main combat weapon, jams or runs out of ammo. It is completely unrealistic, and trumped every other weapon out there because it can shoot across the map (which is what a RIFLE and SNIPER RIFLE are supposed to do).

Dual Wielding = A major step forward in terms of game play and tactical precision. Choosing the right combo for the job makes the game better off in that someone can combat others with a weapon like the Battle Rifle. Removing this would be a major step backward, because it actually is skillful and fun to use.

That's not true. In Halo CE the Pistol was the ultimate weapon. There was no counter weapon. Get the Piston and you ted. In Halo 2 there is always a counter weapon or counter move to every weapon.

How ironic... everyone has the pistol. And it was not the ultimate weapon in every instance. If you were close range you would prefer a shotgun from a pistol. If you were close enough to be accurate with a rocket you would prefer that to a pistol. If you were really far off you would prefer a sniper to anything else.

In Halo 2, people would te because they had "power" weapons. The fact that you all spawn with a weapon very capable of someone in Halo 1 made the game much more balanced and less noobified. Remember, EVERYone has the ability to kill ANYone by using skill in Halo 1. In Halo 2, if someone has a sword, you're pretty much screwed.

I want Bungie to lean much more to the classic Halo 1 feel of the game for Halo 3 to get rid of all the pesky n00bs in Halo 2.

Fact is, Halo 1 required skill, Halo 2 does not. Period.

You do have to remember something though. The pistol was powerful BUT you had to have incredible aim to get three shot kills and you know it. So it's not like you just pick up the pistol and own everyone.

If ya dont like dual weidling don't hold y?

Duel weilding takes some skill to shoot a magnum and smg aat different rates, it also adds a new perspective.
