1. Modders, Cheaters, Standby garbage. That means either MS servers for Live, or start banning the credit cards of malicious users. Google runs on 10,000 plus Linux servers...surely MS, with its cash hoard, could afford a few regional server farms.
2. Don't go overboard on the graphics and sound. That stuff matters little if gameplay suffers and the network can't handle the traffic. Please use REAL playtesters, working via consumer-grade broadband.
3. For god's sake, no arbiter. That guy had awful weapons, a lousy job, and was butt ugly to boot. I almost screamed for joy when I found a shotgun on one of the Arbiter levels.
4. sniper reloads. Don't make the power weapons as dominant as they are in H2. It's so much fun to die time after time from a spawn-camping sniper(s) with 2 million rounds in his weapon.
5. H1 assault rifle. The E3 trailer is downright scary: the Covenant occupation is here and all I have to use on them is an AR? No hope! I might as well put it to my head and pull the trigger.
6. No sword. Where is the logic in this: I have shotgun. You have sword. I fire shotgun. You live. You swing sword from 20 feet away. I die.
7. No more teeny-tiny magazine capacities on the BR. A Heckler & Koch G11, circa 1990, had 50 rounds of caseless ammo in its magazine. An Israeli Galil has a 100 round drum option. Surely, by the 26th century, you'd get more rounds than the 36 in the BR mag.
8. No dropping of weapons when I switch from duals to the alternate (e.g. from dual SMG to BR). Doesn't MC have two holsters to stuff the SMG's into?
9. Do not bring back, in any form: Relic, Lockout, Backwash
10. A retail price that looks more like the price of a barrel of oil.
