you can find the update at http://carnage.bungie.org/haloforum/halo.forum.pl?read=426274
quite exciting stuff but the most odd was..."So, instead, we built three rooms with ten machines each, playing five-on-five, Covenant Vs. Elites."
ponder on that....

The game is going to have all the stuff you'd expect. It'll support voice communication, you can even leave voice messages when you're trying to set up a game. You can form clans - your can customize emblems - sharp-eyed gamers might have noticed a Spartan supporting a Ninja on Fire emblem, a blue metal suit, with yellow secondary colors. Being able to customize your player is kind of awesome. Naturally, Covenant Elites can do the same thing.
SWEET!!!

Apparently things in the game are pretty self-explanatory - even the waypoint icons in the HUD. It's possible for example to see from anywhere in the map if a player has the flag, or if one of your buddies has been killed - the waypoints even show you where he died.
Finally some info on what those things are.

Although the quality of play varied throughout the show, we were surprised how quickly people picked up the new features - like dual-wielding and boarding - one guy even figured out how to blast out the struts on a corrugated iron storm window - the iron panel swings back down, protecting base occupants from sniper rifles - but players can still poke their heads out, moving the panel on its hinges.

One guy realized that he could roll the explosive fusion cores off the base rooftop and drop them on incoming rocket hogs - basically a homemade bomb. People really seemed to be having fun with the game's intricacies, and almost every player used or made an effort to use the Covenant Energy Sword.

Interesting...

Other little changes impressed too, like the destructible vehicles (you can shoot off the Rocket-Hog's hubcaps) and the interactive environments. Basically, if it's not nailed down, you can move it. We watched players roll barrels around, blast piles of debris skyward with grenades, and basically mess around with the environment. One player bounced up and down in a corridor, head butting a light fixture and making it swing wildly, casting light and shadow in a crazy pattern.
Weird, I was just talking about wether or not Halo 2 would be as interactive as Half-Life 2. I guess this answers my questions.

But boarding was a hoot. It makes those close up vehicle skirmishes all the more frightening. If you try to smash another player against a rock wall, there's always a danger he could jump up, board you and kill you with your own ride. We also watched a new phenomenon - the Rocket Hog parasite. Since you can board any part of a vehicle, a red player can board the rocket turret of a Blue-driven Hog. The blue player's only recourse is to abandon the hog, or drive the enemy rocket jerk somewhere he can do less damage - then of course they have to square off against each other. Results can be hilarious.

HAHAHAHA

Well, after reading the entire thing through, I really think this was a great update. Not only did Frankie take us behind the scenes of the preperation of Halo 2 at E3, we also learn a few new things about Halo 2's multiplayer action. Thanks Frankie!

Isn´t it strange that there´s nothing on this on Bungie.net´s main page? I mean usually they put it up there as soon as the Weekly Update is online, right?

I think that answers alot of people's questions whether or not the enemy warthog has to be full.. I mean, you can have a driver and a gunner, and someone from the other team can hop in shotgun.

I could be wrong but this seems like a fake to me. For one most of this could be speculated from someone who has been reading the articles taken from places such as IGN.com and Gamestop.com, etc, and looking closely at the video's shown from E3. One example is the guy hitting the lamp. In the flyby from the video you can see the lamp swinging as the camera goes by it. This would imply that it is something that can be manipulated at least a little bit. Also the grated windows that people are opening and closing. Their are pictures that show those windows both closed and open with a sparten holding a gun through the window. So someone who's observant would notice they can be opened and closed. The post itself just feels different than what Frankie usually writes, and the layout of it and everything, although this could just be because he's at the show and maybe isn't taking the time to write it how he usually does. Then their's the fact that it's not on Bungie's website. In the past this has seemed to be updated as soon as it's out their. As far as nobody being their to update the sight that can't be true because it's been updated the last few days as new screenshots and information has come about, so someone is able to update the sight. I also didn't see Frankie mention anything that I haven't already read from someone else or could have guessed from looking at pictures and movies of Halo 2, even the FanFest I've read that about from other people. Their's also the posting itself. For one their is no mister chief which he has an excuse for, but their's also no icon, something else that makes this feel fake. But perhaps the biggest clue I see that say's it's fake is the email. I've never noticed that Frankie has posted his email in any other postings, and I checked the last real post and he doesn't have his email attached to that one. But he also doesn't list his email here at bungie.net either. I don't buy location facter for leaving these things out. The mister chief was probably already done before he went to E3, and if being at E3 was going to cause a problem then why wouldn't he have posted it here to make it easier. Again, I could be wrong but my bet is this posting was a fake.

I am pretty sure its fake also mostly because Bungie hasn't said its real and it is nowhere near the size Frankie made it out to be. It isn't any bigger than the other updates. Also he never posts this early
