Subject: What's the point?

This will ensure your bungie.net posts are formatted properly.

Bungie has attempted to keep Halo 3 a secret for roughly two years and therefore have been working on it. Bungie has probably finished making the game and is simply testing for glitches, game play issues, and other minor problems. Bungie is probably going to polish their game for several months. Halo 3 will more than likely have Xbox 360 achievements, online cooperative play, bots, new player models, and so forth.

Did Microsoft announce Halo 3 early to help build up the hype to increase sales?

Within 1 day this forum has over sixty pages of posts and all that was required was a short, uninformative, and overrated trailer to evoke enthusiasm from an overall rotten community. I say a rotten community because this community is fully responsible for the downfall of Halo 2’s online multiplayer. With any luck this community can effectively ruin Halo 3’s multiplayer and subsequently the majority of players will blame either Bungie or Microsoft when conversely it was this community’s fault. I hope everyone keeps this in mind as we come close to Halo 3’s release.

Yes, I apologize for destroying online multiplayer indirectly... /sarcasm

That's some crazy logic you have there.

What in the world are you talking about? The Halo community is probably the most talented and active gaming community, and not only that but they create one of the most enjoyable environments you could ever experience in a game. Sure there about one fourth of the community are cheaters, whiners, and wierdos, but you'll find that in any community. Don't let a few shortcomings ruin an awesome experience for you. Lighten up.
