I have installed Halo on my pc with an Radeon 9550 and hardware accelaration is maxed out but i still get a message sayinging"A Problem occured while intializing Direct3D Please run DXDIAG"Although when i run it there is nothing wrong and when i test Direct3D it is fine(note that I run Doom 3 on my system fine)

Checked for the latest drivers for vidcards and whatnot?

If that's been taken care of, there should be another option on that alert box allowing you to ignore the error and continue running the game. Select that.

Go here to download the 1.07 patch for Halo PC, which may solve your problem.
