There are striking similarities between the two. However, we already know that this is taking place in Africa. I'm just curious to know if that is the same bridge.

Finish the Fight

NO! There are like 4 of them if you look again. I don't remember 4 bridges in the game. Plus this has been posted 1,000 times before.

Its most likely bridges or destroyed structures of buildings from New Mombassa or some other city in Africa!

i think it looked more like the space elevator than the bridge case those rings were large and they were destroyed by a slipspace rupture and a quarter is issing that means part of it was taken with regrets ship.

I don't think it's a bridge. I think that it is the forerunner ship that Truth was on, and that it just crashed.

Umm..4 of them? yeah the archs above the bridge...all bridges have them.

And Yes I think it is (also you can see the suspention cables). Besides New Mombasa was the only place the COvenant were touching down on, coincidance? I think not, that giant thing was under the crust of New mombasa.
That bridge wreackage was a clue.

But there would be way more to it than just a bunch of half rings in the ground!
THere'd be way more!
Besides what would the point of putting that in the video be?!
The connection that it's the bridge (a familliar place to halo 2 vets) would occur to them thus suggesting that the place be New Mombasa! It makes absolutely no sense that it was the "space elevator".

I one thought it was the bridge, but if you you notice the ring at the top of this page, it is made up of three smaller rings and it is more circular than the support towers for the suspension bridge, so it has to be the space elevator. Besides, Regret jumped right next to the space elevator and took a chunk of the base with him. Therefore what we see in the backround is the law of gravity having its way with the top half of the space elevator.

look at the space elevator before Regret's jump, and then compare it to the wreckage that the Chief is walking thought, and the wreckage in the background.

I'm pretty sure the super ring like shape is just distortion and perspective tricks...

Besides what about the suspension cables that connect them all in a bridge-like fashion? and the fact that that's exactly what it would look like if the bridge collapsed.
AND there would be more to the body of the space elevator then just archs...

Let's say that was true (probably is , I havn't compared yet)
But still the space elevator would have more mass than just the rings no?
I mean sure it's only one point...but it's a rather large point.

Actually I've played metropolis over 11 times just lookinf for similarities with the surrounding area and that of the H# trailer. I've found that only the space elevator has the best match. If you look closly at the elevetor you'll see the cables running vertically with the structure. Also if it was the bridge there would only be 2 ring structures, not 4 (3 behind chief and 1 across the hole to the right of the city at 1:35) Also if it was the bridge there would be additional cables connected to the structure not just 4. And the fact that the MC is miles aay from the city is a big clue.
