What the *BLAM* is the big deal? I think we could all wait 30 seconds to have a complete cut scene so we wont have to see face less marines and have warthogs pop out of no where. I know Bungies plan was to have the cut scenes load fast so the player would feel more imersed in the halo world BUT really I felt more taken out of the world because I realized wait this is game because in real life random things dont materialize out of thin air and there arent face less people. Plus the extra time gives the player the chance to think about what just happened in the story or whatever. Did anyone really mind the load bar in Halo 1? I thought the load bar was actually pretty cool looking anyway.

Thanks for making this.

Please keep loading. The no loading causing glitchy graphics and popup was one of the major set backs that made the game feel flimsy. Cutscenes are a major part of games.

I didn't even mind them that much. They were only between levels, and it took thirty seconds max. If there will be that pop-up effect, than keep the loading screens.

You know what the sad thing was? The game still loaded sometimes and it still had popups.

Plus that glowing loading bar was cool! If they do make a loading bar which they SHOULD, it should be the one from halo 1.

Xbox Live: Rooster Boost
PSN: RoosterBoost

I DON'T THINK WE WILL NEED TO WORRY ABOUT THAT BECAUSE THE 360 IS A GOOD ENOUGH CONSOLE THAT IT WON'T BE A PROBLEM THAT HAS TO BE DEALT WITH... oh sorry my caps lock was on and i wasn't looking at my screen, i was looking at the burger king manthem commercial

Guys I know a lot of people agree with me so lets try to make this a big ass thread!

  • 05.10.2006 4:17 PM PDT

please bear in mind that what they were running on the original xbox was a 64mb graphics card i belive, your gonna get slower rendering times, remember the 360 has blistering rendering times and there most likely wont be pop up textures or slow rendering times

Why did you write that second sentance? In the time you where explaining yourself you could've backspace and rewritten what you said in lowercase.

You didn't even edit it to write the second sentance...

Yes I myself felt that the pop-ups were something that took you out of the game instead of into the game.

I don't know if you've played GR:AW, but there weren't any loading areas, you just got in the chopper, and then it dropped you off somewhere else. The 360 could probably handle the load times...as it shows in GR:AW.

You people have just sent my sides into orbit. A bunch of MLG try hards sucking the dick of some supposed pro half the thread hasn't even heard of. Classic.

I rarely even get them on my 360. Everything is pretty much there when the screen comes up. They could probably get rid of those if the developers of the emulation software tweaked it a little. I know that won't happen though so I guess I just have to live with it. As for Halo 3 they probably won't have too much trouble making it work. After all they have the experience from doing it the first time around so they know how to do it right from the start.

(10:19:49 PM) Scruss: oh and pezza, i saw what you did to that cat
(10:20:17 PM) Pezza: You were the one with the video camera breathing heavily. Of course you saw.

If i remember correctly, the only reason the cut scenes were jaggy was because of the fact that the Xbox couldn't handle the game all the way...
