i have the 3 map packs ,but you can really only use 1(anniversary)but when i hop on classic or ffa mostly all the players suck or are christmas noobs in that playlist, why did they take out the noble and defiant playlist?i know you can vote on it but everyone needs to have the maps in the lobby and since a bunch of people just bought this game its really difficult so i just wasted $20 for nothing

So we give them teh moniez.

I don't know why they churned out more maps instead of fixing the ones that already shipped with the game. Kinda stupid if you ask me.

Bungie was not good about it. You had a playlist that noboody played for DLC and no chanse to play DLC in normal playlists.

That is the main issue that HAS to get adressed or I for one will never buy a single peice of DLC from bungie or 343i again.

At least Bungie had a playlist and yes people played it (under 1k at a time) but now 343i took it away and now we have longer search times and have to get lucky for them to come up.

The real problem is the community not buying the DLC so we can have them come up more in normal playlists.

Pretty much this. I'm still pissed about it too.

Its a negative feedback mechanism. People do not buy the maps because there friends that have them tell them that they don't get to use them - or - because previous map packs that they have are useless. What needs to be done is a way to make it so that people that have the DLC find one another and then get the DLC maps. It is too late for this on Reach - whatever they do to fix this problem has to be done on the next game for both companies. More likely hood for DLC gameplay = more DLC sold = even more likelihood of playing in DLC. That's how it worked in Halo 3, I don't understand why things got so stupid on Reach.

Why don't they just get rid of all the -blam!- community maps in Team Slayer, make DLC maps more prelvant, make Noble free and required.

On another note, be happy that its not like Halo 2/3 where YOU HAD to buy the maps just to play more than what, 3 playlists?

make Noble free

Map packs that come with achievements will never be free.
Exactly, look at Legendary and Mythic, they still cost msp.

Well then....

  • 12.28.2011 4:17 PM PDT

make a halo dlc special pack for $15 that includes noble and defiant instead of 20 dollars

  • 12.30.2011 2:11 PM PDT

Disregard everything, acquire ponies.

Because of this it's near impossible to get the new defiant map pack achievements.
