Subject: Bungie.net says I haven't played Halo 3 or ODST

Be strong, Own the world, Be the world

So I logged on to Bungie.net to check out my recent stats, then I click on my profile as usual and it shows my Halo Reach character, but not my Halo 3 or my ODST and says that I've never played it online. What's the deal with that. I love Bungie and 343, but I'll be angry if all my stats and credit is gone. Can someone fix this? Any comments will be appreciated.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Just a hiccup, should be fixed soon.

If you changed your gamertag recently and have only played Halo: Reach since then B.net won't show your Halo 3/ODST stats until you play a game of one of them.

I just saw a green monkey nut shot a small tan lizard(?) in a gunny sack.

Play a game of ODST or H3, and it should update. At least, that's what I've seen suggested.

Sometimes stats transferring over and loading can make them unavailable. Some times the stats can be down temporarily for some people.

Perhaps it is due to 343i will logically take over Halo stats.

Actually I did change it one day while I was playing Halo Reach matchmaking. All of a sudden a message popped up saying that my gamertag violated Xbox Live or something like that. It was ALLup1NyourGR1L, now it's ALLup1NyourGRIL, I changed one letter. Does this mean my stats are gone? Thanks for the response.

Oh, if that is the case it will be back in a few days. it has all got to process.

Why do people in ship mutinies always ask for "better treatment"? I'd ask for a pinball machine, because with all that rocking back and forth, you'd get a lot of free games.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

Bungie never lies.

It won't come back in a few days unless you play a game of Halo 3 or ODST (see my profile as evidence).

The good news is that your stats are not gone, just in limbo.

I understand nothing because my life is a conspiracy.

Same thing happened to me. You just need to play Halo 3 and ODST again on your B.net account. I haven't yet; I'm to lazy.

They will eventually make the transition. I changed my gamertag once support for original Xbox titles was pulled (RIP) and I assumed my minimal Halo 2 stats were gone. However, given some time the system figured out that my gamertag changed. It was a long process.

So, the point is you don't have to play the game that your stats are missing for; you can just give it time. Unless of course since 343 has the reigns now, things have changed but I figured I'd share that story just to point out that playing a game that you don't want to isn't necessary if that is the case.
